Okay so villain made a strange opening size raise here ... which made the 4bet he made an awkward size, I felt like JJ was good enough to felt in this spot, but thought I would be getting more value if I called in order to jam non A/K high flops ....

We need a bit of info on opening ranges (stats or something) about villains on your hands. It's hard commenting on it without any.
I guess he has AK a decent amount, but you're beat a decent amount as well.
Also, if you have been 3-betting lightly he'll have Axs sometimes.

I like it. It is not a good idea to 4bet an UTG limp reraiser because you are overrepresenting your hand preflop so I like your play preflop . Postflop, you can't get away from the hand.
-
Thought you said you were gonna jam flop? Why the check/call?
-
oddsgod: he wasnt a limp/raiser .. he opened from the button a really strange size.
wufwugy: called in order to checkraise flop. what i meant in the original post .. he overbet jammed so i guess i didnt have to checkraise.

Marshall and the check/jam. Shoulda known.

Sorry, I misread it. I don't mind your line then, but stacking off preflop can't be bad either. I actually prefer stacking off preflop, because JJ are hard to play postflop, because you will see an overcard like 50%. Against button range, this is a stack off unless you have a betsizing tell that he has AA.

well, he had the 36hh and rivered the 6.
