$22+2 Analysis Requested

Overall I do not think you played this tourney that well (sorry to be harsh):

- You missed quite a few button and SB pushes when you were short stacked but paradoxically you also shoved a bit too wide from bad position (UTG) in a couple of spots.
- You are really undervaluing monster draws like on Hand 19.
- I think your bet sizing needs some work, there were a few spots where you did not bet enough and therefore lost value.

4. AKo - wow, I am NEVER checking AK in the BB when there are four limpers in front. I make it at least 200 to go. This is losing value from your AK IMO. As played, flop and turn are fine, but if you had raised this preflop you might have been able to get AI on the turn. I am torn between shoving the river and checking (presumably with the intention of calling) as you did. On balance I probably lean towards check/calling since I have no idea what opp has at this point.

5. T8o - with only one limper in front I tend to fold this although I don't think it is a terrible leak provided you are playing for two pair or better.

6. A9o - I would c-bet the flop with a gutshot + 2 overcards. As played, you are obv getting it in on the turn.

7. JTs - I usually open fold JTs from the CO unless there are 2+ limpers in front. An alternative play would be to raise it preflop. As played, I guess calling the flop bet is OK but why not bet the turn? A fourth :club: on the river either kills your action dead or kills you if opp has Q:club:-A:club:. As played, your river raise is way too small, there is 300 in the pot when it gets to you, I raise to 200 here.

9. AJo - I usually open fold AJo from UTG, some hands that dominate you do not always re-raise.

Q:spade: 5:heart: SB (M = 15.31; f+f+f+f+f+F) (between 10 and 11) - if the BB has been tight I would consider raising this one

17. JTs - consider raising this one preflop, 600 to go will usually make him fold, and if he calls you have position postflop.

8:diamond: 2:diamond: SB (M = 6.66; f+f+F) - I would consider shoving this, particularly since opp loses 2/3 of his stack if he calls you and loses

18. K7s - I fold this one, it is -EV at most of the calling ranges I tried in SNG Wiz. I would rather shove the 82s hand immediately prior than shove into the big stack here.

19. 86s - sorry to be harsh, but this is pretty bad play with a pair + FD + gutshot on the flop. I would just shove over opp's flop donkminbet rather than calling. You actually have a very strong hand that is ~50% to win against anything other than a set (and even then you're not in terrible shape), however if you miss the turn you lose a lot of equity. When you shove it, you actually don't mind either winning the pot right now or getting called. As played, shove over on the turn, don't fold!

9:diamond: 7:diamond: SB (M = 4.44; f+f+F) (between 19 and 20) - this is a pretty easy shove, particularly because they're sooooted.

K:club: 5:spade: BU (M = 4.12; f+F) (between 20 and 21) - probably a shove considering your stack size

21. K9o - This isn't a good shove from UTG. I am looking for something like 66+, AT+ to shove here. I don't understand why you shove this from UTG but fold K5 from the button?

3:spade: J:club: SB (M = 4.44; f+f+F) (between 21 and 22) - definitely a shove

25. T6s - I would raise the flop. Presumably if SB had Ax he/she would raise preflop. As played, jeez make a proper ~1/2 pot bet on the river, if he check/calls you with something like Jx you want to win more chips!

26. JTs - call is absolutely fine.

28. 84o - jeez, you are really letting Bird Grinder run all over you here. I would shove over his flop donkminbet, he seems to have done this a lot this tourney (minbetting the flop when he is first in).

7:heart: 6:club: BU (M = 3.28; f+F) (between 28 and 29) - shove this one, you're getting really short

4:club: 2:diamond: SB (M = 3.43; f+f+F) (between 30 and 31) - easy shove since you're so short and you have opp almost covered
