So here's a screenshot of my layout since everyone was all omfg over it:

20 table then?
I'm moving up to 18 next week.
I honestly have no clue how I'm beating 200nl. I constantly feel like I'm missing something, but I'm doing alright so I guess I'll keep it up.
how many vpps do you have so far spoon?
Like 20-21kQuote:

The last week? About 3k hands. And I'm down a lot.. 10 buyins, easy.
The new milestone bonus structure is kinda cool too.
Well I'm poor so what can ya do, yaknow?
Renton and I talked about SNE for a while a couple weeks ago, and if my memory still works, you got like $20k in free bonuses (after figuring out the loss of FPP's you need to clear them... was like $28k? in bonuses and cost about $8k? in fpp's to clear them or something), 2 big tourney packages, and 400% FPP bonus instead of 250% for the next year.Quote:

Well I'm running like 2.5 ptbb/100 or so at 200nl getting about 1000 hands/hour, so I figure play hard this year and fuck off until I finish school post-2008.

I have 17" CRT monitors with really really really shitty resolution.Quote:

Also get an AHK betting script if you don't already have one so you don't have to type your bets.
I can vouch for AHK scripts. {click middle mouse button} = raise pot preflop. Saves me from having to do it a couple hundred times an hour.
These are massive, heavy, but do 1600x1200 and really farking cheap.Quote:

Pretty soon I'm either getting two Samsung 204B's or a 30" something or another.
604 hands to go for today
386*
208*
I spent 1K on a new computer & monitors last summer and I'm pretty sure it's already paid for itself by me not misclicking.
Edit: Just saw you said you're getting one so ignore me.
24" widescreen, under $500, native res. 1920x1200

low profile wallmount bracket

These are TN panels, so if all you do is poker (or you have never heard of the term TN) you should be fine
Well I'm done for the day.
Thanks for the suggestions guys. I'm considering a 30" though because it would possibly double as a TV in my future bedroom I think. Me and my girl play Nintendo and shit on the computer all of the time so I figured it would be good for that from the bed too.
Thinking outloud here.
consider this.
30" display for computer is not the same as a 30" media display
display for the computer (30") resolution = 2560x1600 or so and you need a special type of videocard to run this in all its glory,
display for media lcd tv (26"+)= 720p (1280x720), (40"+) 1080p/i (1920x1080)
specs differ, and you may find yourself fucked up down the road.
Just an FYI.
Good god I couldn't play enough to hit Elite if at 2knl.
Dude im at 22k VPP's and im not even going for SNE
I've only been going for it for 3 days now, give me a break.Quote:

Well it was supposed to be the FTR spade logo thing but I've got this new laser mouse and I think I'm not supposed to use it on a cloth pad because it's acting kind of weird. Or maybe I just don't have something set right, I don't know.Quote:

Spoon,
What resolution are you using and do you have all 16 tables on one 17" monitor as pictured?
1152x864 pixels and yes I do have all 16 (now 18) tables on one monitor sort of as pictured. There's no gap in the middle but that's how I lay them out. I suck at drawing to scale.Quote:

The PokerStars software does that automatically anyway.Quote:

Just get a 30" monitor from the fpp store, spoon. They are 100k fpp.
By the way, does anyone know if it would make more sense to get the 40" lcd tv for 110k fpp or 50"plasma for 170fpp instead and use it as a monitor AND tv?
Im thinking if I get enough fpps, i might get one by the end of the year.
I'm starting to get into 6-max a little at a time, but my main game is full ring.Quote:
