Pretty new, like 3rd hand Ive played. No reads. PO just started up. Layers seems to be Hypr Aggr bullying the table. And please note I just came in, randomly selected this table. I not quite sure if these chip stacks are ideal 1 tabling ring @ 25NL. Is my table selection ok first off?

hand 1: make you cbet sligtly bigger, atleast $2, but i like $2.25. This will discourage him somewhat from raising here. Peel a turn here definitly since its such a small raise, but dont put much m0re money in teh pot without improving.

hand 2: Your 3bet is way too small here. You need to make it 3.5x atleast, and some people like raising 4x OOP like this. You probably dont need to be 3betting hands like 77 at 25nl as CO and BU raisers will pay you off enough when their A6o hits this flop. As played a c/r is OK here but leading $4 is better imo. If he calls your c/r then jam the last bit in on the turn no matter what card hits obv.

Would you reraise OOP with more opponents? I think you are trying to tell me to encourage action with only one player. Am I basically spewing chips with only one opponent by doing this?

1: I'd cbet a bit more, and I don't quite get it from your description, but the guy raising you has been bullying the table? In that case I'd call the raise, but try to get to showdown as cheap as possible.

2: I wouldn't really 3bet 77, but ok.. on the flop, you really have to either lead or just call it. He most likely has an ace here, so you have to focus on getting him to put his whole stack in the middle. With your big c/r you're actually allowing him to get away from it.

Yes thats what I was implying. How many times is this is semi bluff on a FD? Basically I think and feel that based on my CO raise he is taking pos on me to either float or draw out cause he can afford it. I see many ppl with large stacks do this at this level.

Is it wrong to raise KJos in the CO when it was folded around to me to begin with? My intentions anyways were to get him in the hand. My wishes were not to hit TPGK. I have a hrd time playing against a fat stack that is laggn it up with something like KJ.

Who knows what it means.. maybe he has a flush draw, maybe he has a J and wants to protect it, maybe he has nothing at all but wants to probe if you really have something to continu with. Your hand is decent but not that great so I would continue with the plan for pot control and check behind, trying to get to showdown as cheap as I can.

Most likely a draw so I would just check behind for pot control.

table selection...i need more info than that. stacks are too short, for me (i dont like to see more than 2 under 60 bb's, if i can help it). and, i also dont like putting shortys on my right. thats where the deep money goes. not that you did that, its just an FYI.

one...pot the flop and call the raise. evaluate again on turn.

two...i dont 3bet mid pp's w/o a read, but if i do, i make it 4X when oop. as a result of this flop, i check/shove, too. if he has the A, he instacalls. if he doesnt, he shuts down anyway.


to the rest of you in response to hand 1...if you are sure he's on a flush draw, why arent you betting hard on turn when he checks? are you that afraid of a c/r? a draw wont do that. if he is on the draw, which i suspect, why are we in for pot control and giving a free card? that makes his 4/2 rule very profitable. we need to charge his ass for drawing, dont we? somewhere around $7? or does the flop c/r confuse us enough to play weak? he isnt going for a double c/r, imo.

Yeah if you're sure he's on a draw, then you should definately bet out to price it, but I think draws are only a small part of his range. There's also a bunch of hands that beat us (like AJ) in his range, and air which he will fold to a turn bet. So I'd just check for pot control and call his river bet which will often be a bluff if he's indeed a table bulley.
