Turning Stone Trip Report thread (No pictures :( )

So this is what happened on this trip (from my perspective). As far as I know no one had a camera though.

Day 1 (Friday): I get driven to BWI, get on my plane and have a layover in Philly. While playing poker during the layover, I go on a super heater versus complete fish and make 2k in 100 hands of HU. My trip is now more than paid for :). I get to Albany and then all hell breaks loose. I retardedly decided to fly into albany because it was $40 cheaper than Syracuse, BIG mistake. I'm renting a car and find out that the agency that said on their website only had a $25 surcharge for being under 25 actually has an $110 one. I tell these guys to go fuck themseleves (lol well not literally) and go to the next agency... Anyways long story short my debit card isnt working even though i have 2600 in my bank account. They will not let me rent a car without a valid credit or debit card, i dont have one. I look at other alternatives and quickly realize there are none. I go back to one agency and plead for a half hour and she decides that she feels so bad that she'll lie for me and i get this ballin ass hatchback!

I'm driving to TS and quickly realize that instead of an hour and 15 away its more like 2 hours away. I'm falling asleep at the wheel and wake up several times by rumble strips. BUT I make it. I get to TS at about 1 am, see Ben (sauce) at a 2500 max table and say hi. I call Max and go up to the room and meet Rich (nutsinho, he was a nice guy), and see Gabe also. I see a bunch of empty beer bottles and realize that Gabe and Rich are drunk. They leave and apparently get high (more on this later). Me and Max decide to go down to the Casino and try to ball it out with our small bankrolls, until our friend Tom gets here who can lend us 3k. We lose like $300 each, its pretty ridiculous. Tables are horrible.
At one point a MTT pro sits down at my table. He sees this arrogant Jewish kid who is making fun of the entire table with his friend in whispers. He's an arrogant douche. Jew kid raises in MP, MTT Pro, who's sn is OTD_Canada I think, is in the blinds and asks the table if he has set odds to call with a pp. We all laugh. flop comes T95. Canada leads, douchey jew kid gives some weird douchey face and calls. turn is a 7, Canada checks and jew kid leads $40, Canada c/r all in. Jew kid mulls over and folds. Canada shows 22, and IMO made a nice play. Now here's the funny part, Jew kid tells Canada he had Q high and would snap any pair (which is retarded so even if he would've it would've been a stupid play). Canada sees how arrogant this kid is and starts telling him he's a retard. They get intoa verbal fight, which ends by Canada asking the table if they want breakfast, and distrubutes the jew kids money that he just won to everyone at the table besides the Jew kid and his friend and promptly leaves.
LOL.

I go see sauce at 2500 max with one online pro next to him, and some donk their also. Sauce is having a tough time against both, esp cause the donk is on a heater. I have never meant Tom IRL but from talking to him on the phone I think the online guy is him. But trying not to sound stupid I don't ask.
Saturday:
We go to sleep at 4 am in Ben's bed while Gabe is passed out in the other one. Ben stays up all night and enters in the 1k ME the next morning. Gabe is in it too. Me and Max decide to grind cash games. Gabe and Ben do decent but Gabe busts at the end of the day. Me and Max are breaking even at 200nl. I see Tom finally who I realize was the online pro at the table with Sauce the night before. I get 3k from his huge wad of 20k (lol balla's). I meet his roommates. Me and Max decide to go big or go home, and play the 5-5 game. Max 20 minutes later gets AA cracked, and moves back to 200nl. I am up about 200 at my table, but lose a 1400 dollar pot with the essential second nuts versus someones turned nut straight. ewewewewew. I move back to 200nl.
I converse with my table as usual, and get into a convo with some guys because they clearly play online. Sometime during the conversation (I'm not sure this is exactly how this whole thing happened, I don't remember it clearly) I say I post at flopturnriver.com . Guy to my right mentions that he used to post there. I am surprised, he tells me that he is the legendary Muxy! I tell him I'm ISF and we talk for awhile. Apparently, he got high with Gabe and Rich the night before. Rich was falling asleep sitting up and Gabe was doing all this goofy shit. Rich also lost his wallet. Muxy doesn't go into detail about what goofy shit Gabe was doing, maybe he'll stop in and tell us.
At my table there's this annoying kid who seems like some socially inept scrub 2p2 guy who likes the commune there and likes to act drunk all the time. He goes all in on the river for 1/4th the pot after c/c two streets when i have top pair. He tells me how he obviously has a busted flush draw, and proceeds to berate me and talk to his friend on the phone about how bad I am. I decide even though I'm pretty sure I'm beat, there's a chance he's just being dumb and since i cant put him on a hand that hit I call. He shows the nut straight.. he hit his gut shot. He proceeds to tell his friend look at all the money i won while he scans the phone across the chips.
I am going insane inside, I just want to get up and tell the guy fuck you. I don't call the floor unfortunately (lol i probably would've got my chips back) because i am so focused on not throwing punches. The guy proceeds on dropping 1k at the table.
Max tells me a story earlier about how there's this short blond girl who all the 2p2 guys are railing (joke is made by this girls friend later about the sexual connotation) for the 6 max tourney. I go upstairs to see how sauce is doing and meet Randallin, a guy named Randall who is very cool and a top tourney pro. He laments about how he wish he spent the last 3 years learning cash games. I also ask about the short blond girl and he tells me its Chrissi B, who I have never heard of, who I now find out plays HU SNG's and MTT's. Ben is doing well, but is tired as fuck and really needs to get the sleep he hasn't gotten in the past 40 hours.

Later, at my table I see a short blond girl who has a great body, pretty cute too, who I realize is Chrissi B talking to her friend at my table. I make some joke about how i'm in the presence of a celebrity and occasionally flirt with her that night. More to come later. Me and Max end up down 1300 over the past two days total. We go to sleep at 4 am again...

ok idk why, i usually would be steaming, but i can't stop laughing about these hands.

i have about 4k. a couple people limp. I have AJhh in the CO and raise to 40. BB old loose donk calls, two others call.

Flop is AK3 rainbow.

Loose donk leads 100. other players fold. By now i'm pretty sure i'm ahead because i've seen him lead as a bluff and casino donks never have strong hands when they lead. I call, planning to call him down pretty much everytime.

Turn is a Jd. there is a diamond FD

He bets 200, i put him all in for 450 more. He stacks his chips for a minute and calls. I'm pretty sure he just has a bare A and he's drawing dead.

River is 3d.

I flips AJ, he slowrolls me and flips A8dd.

3 hands later i pick up AA. Tilting donk Loose player raises to 30 in utg +2, i raise to 100. Asian loose donk who loves chasing flushes calls. Tilting donk pretty much reveals his hand with his mannerisms and expressions and calls with 99-JJ or AJ-AQ (turns out it was TT).

Flop comes 973 two spades

two checks to me, i bet 250, asian donks thinks for a bit and calls, tilting donk folds.

turn is J spade

Asian donk goes all in for 855. Then he starts rambling and annoying me, saying " i know you're on tilt, call" "i have 45" "you don't have the flush." I finally fold and he doesn't show but says he had T8 one spade.

I'm gonna go back into that donk fest now and try to build up my stack to like 10k.

Story that Danny didn't post:

Danny leaves at about 3am monday, and i go to sleep, while Sauce taking another shot at the 2500 buyin game. When i wake up in the morning (from housekeeping) i notice that Sauce still isn't in bed, so i call him up.

He's like, "shit it's 11am? fuck, well i'm playing this guy 25/50 HU come watch."

So i go down, i don't watch a huge amount of the match but the guy he's playing is very bad. After talking to some people at my 500 NL table they tell me he has loads of cash from his family and 10k is like pocket change for him.

It'd be cool if sauce would tell some hands from the HU, all i know is that this rich guy ran super-uber hot and sauce ran real cold. I think there was an 8k pot where Sauce flopped the nut straight and the donk turned a better straight (with sauce's now being the third nuts, GAY [ both players used both cards]). Also, in another hand, possibly a 6k pot, the donkey called a flop bet with T8high, turned a gut shot, and rivered a straight against Sauces 2's A kicker.

I think he ended up staying up 30 hours straight though.

Part 2:

I am awokened on sunday by gabe, who is leaving, telling me I can sleep on his bed rather than the floor because he is out. Max is sleeping on a couch outside. At 12:30 i wake up and wake up Max because the Redskins game is on soon. Max goes to see Ben and tells me that Ben is in the chip lead (I'm not sure if this was the exact time, at one point I heard that Ben was chip leader).
We then watch the Redskins game.
I call Ben later to see that he's on break, and tells me that people want to work out some sort of chop deal where they take some money off first and 2nd so everyone is guaranteed money. He tells me he doesn't want to do it and that the old guys really want to. One old guy over hears and starts talking to Ben and telling him "It's the right thing to do" (lol). At this point I'm super pissed at how rude this guy is to interrupt a phone conversation and yell into the phone "Dude he's talking on the phone." Ben tries to calm me down as he clearly doesn't want the whole table out to get him. As the old guy continues talking I again yell into the phone "Shut the fuck up." I say it again and he clearly doesn't hear me. I ask Ben if I can talk to this guy and he of course says no. I think in terms of anger to significance of situation ratio, that was the biggest one for me.

Me and Max decide to play some more 200nl while we watch the game. Redskins lose and I'm pretty upset. We go back to watch Ben some more. He's doing well and taking down pots. I go buy Ben a box of runts that i present to him as a luckbox, a gesture he made to me a year ago when I met him (not so lucky for me that time).
I go to check my flight that is unfortunately leaving in four hours. YAY its cancelled!!! I reschedule for tomorrow morning and am happy because now if Ben wins I can be there for the celebration.
It's break and Me and Ben go and eat dinner for a half hour. He leaves to continue on his run. Max and I continue to play poker in hopes of becoming unstuck. a couple hours later we go to see how Ben is doing. It's over. There is a four way chop, Ben gets 36k as he was the chip leader. We, of course, call it a win as we should. We wait as Ben gets paid out in chips!!! We make a bunch of jokes about the 1k chips, we call them pumpkins because of their color and it sounds way cooler. Ben finally gets paid out, he tips the dealers, and we begin celebrating.

Ben is tired as fuck, but Max and I are super excited and convince him that we need to really celebrate this. We try to hunt down a bottle of Krystal but unfortunately the liquor store just closed and the Casino is dry. We decide to find expensive cigars (well, the most expensive they had was $15) and smoke them while we play blackjack! Our Blackjack dealer sucks ass. We end up being berated by everyone around us for smoking because they don't want smoke in their face. I then know the pain of smokers everywhere who get berated everywhere. I vow never to get upset at a smoker again. Ben talks about staking Max and me for the 1knl game. Unfortunately the only games running are 200nl, 1/2 100max, and 2500 max. And again, unfortunately there are no tables with 3 open seats, so we can't play and donk around.
Ben sits at the 2500 game and Max and I sit at the 200nl table. Ben decides not to end up joining us; understandable considering its the worst table I've ever seen at a game that big.

So as we sit and converse with some guys we played with before. Chrissi B comes and sits down. I make some joke about how I've never sat with a celebrity before and she gets really embarassed. Even the old guys try to flirt with her, hoping in their ironically hopeless fantasy that they can rail some 20 year old girl. I decide since she's pretty cute that I might as well try to give her a run. I ask her if she'll sign a chip for me, and she says once I beat her in a hand she will. After a hand where I flop the nuts and she goes all in with top pair I throw a chip in her direction. Neither of us have any writing utensil though so it never gets signed. Damn! I was hoping to sell it on 2p2! I commence flirting and conversing, but see that she is not showing any attraction to me. I think of four reasons why this is the case:
1) I suck at flirting
2) She has a boyfriend
3) I'm just not a cool guy
4) I'm not an attractive male

Luckily, I can live on in delusion that 3 out of 4 are false, as she mentions innocuously to the dealer that her "boyfriends mom told her blah blah blah" some shit about american health care. However, I still flirt for fun and also hope that she has an open relationship or is willing to cheat. Of course, that never happened.
So since my flight leaves at 7 am and its freezing rain, yet somehow my flight isnt delayed or cancelled, I start my drive to albany. The oxygen in the casino wears off and even though i down 3 red bulls im having a hard time staying awake. I wake up by the rumble strips on the shoulder many times. I'm freaking out, I slap myself multiple times to try to wake myself up but it's doing nothing.
Somehow i make it.
