yeah that movie was great. i thought Tommy Lee did a fantastic job.
for sure, although javier bardem was amazing. dude creeped me out alright.
will, did you happen to see the 3 burials of melquiades estrada? now that's a fantastic tommy lee jones performance.
Bump:
I just read a review and it was all thumbs up. sounds like an interesting movie?
Is it like Pulp fiction, or Natural Born Killers? stuff like that ?
Isn't it made by the same guy that made Fargo?Quote:

I had to research afterwards but even after that i still don't completely grasp the point.
Also the dialogue was very tedious at points.
But it was a well made movie, i felt like it was kind of like the movie Seven. Really well made but besides that meh.

but seriously, you put way too much energy into analyzing things sometimes. I am not really sure of what kind of "abstract deeper meaning" you are talking about. And the dialogue was brilliant. The only thing this movie has in common with seven is that it has a really twisted villain.
I just watched this movie last week. It was great, right up till the Ending, which went right over my head. explain please
the dreams? tommy lee jones' dreams were supposed to symbolize life after death/judgement/making his father proud/etc.Quote:

Reading the script after seeing it helped me a lot. I missed a bunch of shit because of accents/not paying attention.
