Hit turn, facing heat deep

Villain is a 28/4/2.5. He hasn't raise any of my bets yet. I am running over the table, at about 25/22. I know he has been waiting to hit something big. I hate these spots deep...

dude, idk...i dont have that much experience playing deep or at these stakes but we are only 200bb deep. I'm not saying that felting this is absolutely correct but I think we can't fold to this min raise. I think we can call and reevaluate his bet size on the river.

I'm getting it in there too. The only hand we can reasonably be worried about is JJ (I'm fairly confident that KK is reraising pre; honestly, if he's looking to play back, I suspect he repops with all of the 4% he would normally raise, meaning JJ too).

It's much more likely that he has a lower flush (and almost as likely that he is overplaying a pair, given your read of wanting to play back).

We have the nuts here.. because based on PF villain cannot have KK or JJ so unless he has quads we 100% have the best hand, hence the 3-bet and river shove.

Actually, if villain knows what he's doing (which he clearly doesn't, as a 28/4), the fact that he's on the button more strongly favors a call than a raise. There's a lot more he can do with his position postflop if the pot is relatively small preflop.

I think your very grossly overestimating his raise size as KK/JJ/33, i think its just as likely many flushes or some dumb shit like AcA, AcK so we have to get it in, sorry you got coolered.

Yes my snap fold was a joke srsly we have the nuts.

These type of hands aren't important anyways.

Turn 3bet size is the only interesting aspect of this hand really.

Haven't really been playing.

If I was 100bbs deep I think this is an easy push, and I guess it still is at 200bbs. So is this ever not a push/3bet?

I 3bet and shove the river feeling very good about it. b/c of preflop I'm only really worried about 33 and we even have an out against quads. Also, if he's the type to slowplay a set on the flop, I think he continues to slowplay on the turn a decent amount of the time.

btw, isf, Ac is in our hand.

Ok so there's all this talk about being worried about a boat cause villain is super passive.. but where's all this passive talk coming from? I mean, he's 28/4/2.5 ... he's passive preflop but 2.5 isn't _that_ passive! .. or am I missing something here?

If he was like 28/4/1 or something I'd be a lot more worried.

the guy hardly ever has a a boat and hes def not "stupid passive" except for preflop. he is putting the money in with any flush and KJ here so we put money in now to guarantee we get value out of those instead of just giving it to K3s or whatever he has
