Easy bankroll double? : )
Yes
23 point dog, man, that's harsh
but the pats have covered every single game, and BD is the only offensive weapon Philly has
I'm contemplating putting $500 on these chaps too, parlayed with CLE ovr
Well, that was a good train to be on for awhile, but it seems to have left now. 24 point favorites? holy shit. They could still cover, but damn does that line scream "OMFG WHAT DO WE DOOOOO???" by the linesemakers.
i still like giving the points...lolz
have they failed to cover yet?
24points? is that a record?
I think I'd bet the over
gotta love O/U

And I think I'm being nice to PHI, feel like it will be 56-3.
Colts/Patriots. No matter what line you got, they did not cover.Quote:

Bookies gonna lose their ass tonight?
I figured everyone would take the points and the over?
Well, the over sure hit. :D
Man, it's too bad Philly lost that game. They were playing balls out.
Ok sports betting newb here. If you guys could clarify a few things for me that would be great.
1) If new england is favored by 23 points wouldn't they have to win by 23 or more to cover and therefore you win.
2) What are all the different things you can bet on the game. For example if you bet on philly you would've won tonight cause new england didn't cover right?
Over
+0.0
(Over/Under)
New England Patriots at Baltimore Ravens

i just placed this bet , am i reading it right that the total score must be *over* zero in order to collect ??
that just seems too good to be true .
Win by 23 is push, you get your money back (minus vig I think)Quote:

You can bet many, many things in one game. But usually, the most common would be Over/Under, Spread (team covers or not), Moneyline (team wins straight up)
When you bet more than one item, its called a parlay. Parlay's payouts are better than single lone bets, since they are harder to hit
When moneyline is, say, -325, it means you have to bet 325 to win 100.
If moneyline is +150, you bet 100 to win 150
Somebody correct me if I am wrong
For the rest of the season, I'm going to bet a small amount on the ML of whoever is playing the Pats. I almost hit +1650 this week with the Eagles. The only way my plan could be foiled is if the Patriots never lose... which actually looks possible.
Just for the record, I have tripled my br on the pats lol
I put 1K on them at the beginning of the year to win the SB and another $200 for a perfect season. I'm looking to make some major bank here in two weeks.
damn, whats the payout if(when) they win the SB?Quote:
