Underpair OOP in 3way raised pot

Seems like they really hate their hands. They can't possibly have a J. Standard? Also, do we fire again on the river if one calls and no draws complete?

They don't have a jack, but they also won't put you on one, and many players will call down with a pair. The check flop then bet/double barrel turn and river is a suspect line. Once the flop hits, check/fold unimproved.

It would make sense to them for me to check a J to the pfr wouldn't it? Out of the 3 of us I think me holding a J is the most believable.

Most believable is them thinking you're thinking the J is a good bluffing card. By the time the turn comes, the large majority of 25nlers are not thinking that you would check a J to the pfr. Most of the time, the board pairing makes it more difficult to rep being hit by it.

how many jacks are in your range for an UTG limp-call, or do they think about that?

I think there are too many draws for them both to fold, which means you have to commit to double barreling once you decide to bet the turn. I would personally be much more worried about CO and what he checks behind with here if he is even halfways a thinking player. This was a prime spot to pick up the pot but he didnt take it.

hero cud easily have a set too

I don't like relying on my opponents being willing to put me on a set, as their inability to do this makes all of us so much money.

I'd like to think that most are just plain not thinking at all. They see their cards and if they're connected they'll continue, if not they'll fold. If they suck they'll call with overs.

imo the CO check here means he has missed completely like 90% of the time. like lahooozaher said most are non-thinking so i think they usually see my bet and fold if they don't have a J or a worthy draw. i think the pfr is ready to give up the hand and i think CO usually has nothing here since he checked the flop.

I really hate the limp/call Pre-flop.
I especially dislike that it's an open limp. If you are going to play this you should open the pot to a buck and go from there.

If you are going to limp, Re-raise this when it gets back to you, represent a PF Monster and take it down.

As played I don't think you can rep a J here with any success. I'd probably just continue with check/fold mode.

umm no thanks. also, open limping utg in small stakes full ring with small pairs is not a bad thing to do. maybe raising is a bit more +ev, but always raising them can get one into a lot of marginal spots oop and i just prefer not to deal with that right now. thanks though.

preflop aint a big deal really. these days I mix it up for fun.

i think benny qouted something like ''theres nothing wrong with making your hand face up if opp is blind'', so bet turn since a J would.

He could easily have AK/AQ here and fold. I can't see AA/KK/QQ checking that flop. If you get called it will easily be a draw or a 8/7. Be ready to fire on the river again.
