Sweet my 10's end up splitting on a board straight. Than guy with 900 pushes from the cutoff when im in the SB with AK . he has 10-2 and i lost.

I missed the first ~45 minutes cuz i was at dinner. Came back, first hand dealt TT with like 800 chips left at the 120 level, allin, i win. Leave for another 5 or 10 minutes to finish dinner, come back first hand dealt 22, all in, called by 99 and K7o shorty, board goes Kxxx2, and now im in the top 25 or so...

still sitting out..

Yes and no. Lots of nutcampers -- not really setcampers, just "play any two pre for any price and go all in on the flop with two pair+ and fold everything else" type players. You'll win the battle preflop, but man its tough to extract postflop from people who fold the flop with air, and try and go all in with TPTK+. Makes cbetting pretty pointless. I dunno, I'm struggling a bit. +4 or 5 buyins over like 11k hands.

And HU pots are *rare* which is odd for me. I have trouble playing against the school it appears

Let's also remember that we must adjust properly to our opponents, they're still really bad, but in a different way, adjust to their style and you should have that winrate up in no time. How do we adjust to this style? I'm sure you'll just blow my questions off but have you really just sat back and thought more deeply about it other than "cbetting is pointless"? If you have fine, but I don't think you have or you wouldnt be running 1.5ptbb/100 at the levels you're playing.

i was in the 10k on ap and forgot about this (id have played as i hgad to stay upo for my free entry)

so anyway i lose AK vs AT and close the ap window only to find i had half a stack left (wtf how i dont know) and while im watching the cake freerole i get a msg up saying i finished in 73rd place.

goddamn ap rigged crap!

Quite. I'm just a shitty nit. Its tough, because a *lot* of players there look to get all in with TPTK on the flop. But theres also a significant population of nutcampers who will play any two pre and then fold the flop light. Without PT stats, its tough to separate the two.

Hence the proper thing is to setcamp, scale back your cbets, particularly multiway, particularly OOP. Thats the easy part. The hard shit is when your cbet gets called. That provides you almost no information as they'll call with the nuts because OMG SLOWPLAY, and they'll call with third pair. So this then involves bet/folding lots of turns, and this gets expensive especially when you have air. And so you cant do that, you need to check behind more turns and evaluate rivers.

Then, thanks to the prominently displayed "bet pot" button, they auto-pot the river, and you're left holding your balls.


By far to me the biggest thing that sucks about the site is the prominently displayed "bet half-pot" button and the "bet pot" button. This encourages bad players to bet more than they usually would at other sites with similar hands. On other sites, a huge portion of your winrate comes from shitty super-passive players underbetting and letting you profitably draw against them.

When they mash the bet-pot button on every street, that goes out the window.

There are some that would think this makes them more money. Having guys bet pot on all streets is not as bad as it seems. It certainly makes it easier to get money in the pot, and since we practice PF hand selection and hand reading based on ranges, would getting more pot sized bets when ahead not be a good thing?

It does and it doesnt. It kills your drawing odds, so draws obviously lose a lot of value. Basically, worthless unless they're big enough combo draws that you're comfortable with check/shoving the flop.

It's obviously good for your made hands, but those hands are relatively infrequent, and in a side by side comparison, I'd vastly prefer to draw cheaply often than to have them occasionally bet pot into me on the flop when I have the nuts.

And facing 2 or 3 PSBs with TPTK always fucking sucks.

how many tables you running boss?

4, sometimes 5. Mostly I'm ok right now with a small winrate while I clear the bonus and the RB.

But yes, your point is that I'm not paying enough attention, and thats very true. I try and make it a point of looking at every "big" hand but the hand histories are shitty so theres not a whole lot I can gather from it. And usually its just some moron with TPTK donking his stack off and disappearing anyway.

You have to note on each player what they're willing to felt, and what they're willing to play smaller pots with.

Sounds like you're having a bit of trouble without PT/HUD support which is understandable, if I couldn't run PAHUD I'd 2table at most.
