NL$200 - AQ help please
I'm worried about posting this hand for fear of being mocked but i'm not sure whether i'll be mocked for being a complete donkey, or because its understandable to go broke here and not postworthy.
Villain has 3 bet me pretty much every hand, and i'm not used to it yet having just moved up (3rd session at NL$200 for me). I've been doing it to him somewhat too, only he has called more often than i would expect (maybe he's just catching some great starting hands). Basically, we've been 3 betting a ton and this is my poor attempt at adjusting.
at the time he was running about 14/8(looked v nitty), but overall since then i have him 23/15/2. I've just noticed that he plays as high as 10/20 but i didnt know that at the time. i ran 25/23/4.86 on that table

If you guys have really been battling it out as much as you say preflop, then I go broke here. I think you see AK here at least as often at AA or QQ. Although the smooth call of your 4bet indicates that he may hold a monster and not a drawing hand like AK.
Nonetheless with the previous action, and 3 handed, I go broke.
P.S. I fire flop here unless he is aggro enough you know he'll bet it with air.

It's fine to go broke here. Also, posting results makes this thread a less helpful and interesting.

i'd bet the flop too. I think you're being too hard on yourself, this is a tough hand and you have no reason to think you're beat until the end of the hand.

i don't like 4betting with A-Q, even though villain has seemingly been comnig after you. It has the same value as a hand like K-Jo in a 4bet pot. I would just call the 3bet and check/raise the flop if he has been so aggressive.
Regardless i think you end up getting all in here.
Hmm i just saw that it's 3 handed so my suggestion might not be so good...

going broke is good here in my opinion since he s never folding AJ after preflop action

This is fine. Bet the flop. Besides that, given the situation, im going broke here pretty much every time.
