8 handed/80 NL Hold'em live game
Stack size:
Player A: 100BB
Player B: 135 BB
Player A is under the gun with AQ off suite.
Player B raises pre flop with Pocket Kings 3 times the big blind
All fold except Player A calls
Flop comes rainbow (Q, J, 2)
(A) bets 13 times the big blind.
(B) raises all in.
Should (A) call the all in raise or fold assuming Player A has no read on Player B ????? :?
$0.40/$0.80 NL? Interesting stakes... Where is this at? Casino (B&M) or a Home game?
Did Player A limp from UTG?? Or do you mean that he was the BB? Also, don't tell us what villian has! It can skew our recommendations based on the known outcome.
Assuming that you meant that he was the BB, here are some thoughts:
1. Live games (B&M) are 9/10 times MUCH looser than online
2. With no read, TPTK on a semi-coordinated flop isn't a horrible hand to go to the felt with.
3. Whether he calls or folds really comes down to the risk tolerance of Player A. Is this really a bankroll question in disguise?
Unfortunately you will not get a consistent answer to your question here because of different playing styles, and different tolerances to risk. So this is actually a VERY personal question that only Player A can answer for him/her self.

this doesn't make a whole lot of sense. you think it is correct to call the shove with only 16bb's invested even after admitting that you think you are behind? if you think you have 2-5 outs when someone shoves that flop then you obviously shouldn't be calling.Quote:
