On both the turn and the river my instinct was completely screaming at me to fold but I doubted I could find one.

Seems fine and standard. Not sure theres anyway most people are getting away from that. The line villain took is weird. I saw this exact same line 3 or 4 times yesterday when donkey villains were drawing to the flush. Is this the new donk way to play a high flush draw?
