WAY TOO small flop bet. Why this small when there are so many turn cards that beat you? Overbet the pot to scare off/flush out draws.

yeah raise a lot more on the flop. after you made such a weak bet it makes this hard to play because he could just be trying to take the pot away after you made that weak bet.

raise size preflop is fine. You could make it $3.50 since you are OOP, but its fine. You CANT bet so small on such a draw heavy flop. You have a good hand, but there are a ton of hands that will complete on the turn and you want to price them out. Bet $6 on the flop and probly fold to a push. You only really beat QQ/bluff here so you cant really call the raise as played.

You look weak so he could be shoving a decent-sized range here. I call but your cbet is really too small.

Thanks.....I actually bet this small intentionally to get opp to push. In the 3 prior rounds he's pushed AI on a small CBet everytime. (I will look back but it was at least 3 times..maybe 4)

Once he pushed I instacalled. I put him on AK, QQ JJ maybe AJ. Opp flipped over AJ and I won the pot.

Is a play like this wrong against someone who you think will push with a top pair and draw or is the over pair way to vulnerable on this board?

He's felting the flop regardless.

The smallish bet is fine to induce a bluff however you're flipping against a lot of bluffs. I'd rather induce bluffs in wa/wb situations. It also sucks to get called on this flop with taht puny bet and have to play a turn with a good amount of money still behind.

Thank bigspenda73. Good point. Not worth trying to be tricky here. Considering what opp held I was lucky to get out of this hand. Opp had 11 outs (off the top of me head) and with my lame flop bet a simple call on their part may have been a better play.

Either way if a rag comes on the turn they are going AI so lets have them make a decision before that. What would the right bet be on this flop? $6 or so?

Cbets in 3bet pots do not have to be as big as usual b/c implied odds are cut down due to the fact that the stacks are shallower on the flop. I'd cbet $5-$5.50 and have to call a shove here. Once you do that you're committed on the turn had he just called the flop.
