How to protect against idiots?

is there ANY way to play this different? Or is this just a bad beat from a fish? I tried raising enough to get rid of this type of hand. What can I do better? Different?

I don't mind it at all, nh to a 2 or JJ. Most of the time, the raise by him on the flop is from a weaker hand.

Again, I like getting the bulk of the money against a probable flush draw on the turn. I flat call his raise, c/f to a diamond on the turn, and open shove any non-J or diamond turn card. This way if the donkey wants to chase his flush he's doing it with much worse odds with 1 to come vs. 2. The advantage a flush draw gets with your overshove 3bet on the flop is that he's guaranteed to see both the turn and the river.

Your edge is soooooo much bigger on the turn against a draw, then it is on the flop. If you're already behind, the money is going in 0n the turn anyways, might as well give yourself the chance to catch up by flatcalling. If Villian has a lower PP, give him the chance to catch his 2 outter (because it's so improbable), and get the m0ney in on the turn when you're an 80/20 favorite over a naked flush draw.

His range is so much bigger than a flush draw here (especially after he raises). You fold the best hand alot with this line and lose just as much when behind.

Overshoving works too, as if he calls with a diamond draw he's definitely taking the worst of it. I'm just bitter from being stung so many times overshoving a raise in this spot only to have villian flip up A2, or K2s. I'm becoming more and more less likely to stack off over a raise with one pair hands at microstakes, even if they are overpairs.

Yup. Hell call alot with just the J (his most likely hand) and he might occasionally call with the flush draw aswell. Hell also occasionally have a smaller pair and not believe you've hit. He'll usually fold those to the shove but occasionally he'll decide youre obviously bluffing and call with 88.

I like the theory behind a call on the flop and than a shove w/o a diamond on the turn. In all honesty I putt opp on A-J, 10-10 to KK.

Opp shows [6d 8d] (a flush, Jack high)

Opp pushed AI with an 8 high flush draw and won when the diamond hit the river!!

If I flat call opps raise on the flop and move AI on the turn there is no way they lay it down at these stakes. That's what is so maddening.

You got your money in with the way best of it, if you can't handle doing that and still losing then go play Starcraft or something.

What do you mean defend? This is the type of play you want your opponent to make.
