Here is a question for anybody who commits alot of time each day trying to grind a profit...
Do you guys have a specific routine you go through as far as which games to play etc.? I feel like spending an entire day only playing SNGs can become incredibly streaky. Or am I wrong? When do you switch games (ie from SNG to ring games)? Are you constantly lookng for a game that you are having a hot streak in?
Me personally, I play ring games 97% of the time. I try to put in two 2 hour sessions 8 tabling 6max a day. My goal right now is just to log 10k hands a week. That's how I grind. I don't look to switch up and look for a "hot streak". I want to try to fit more MTTs in but I just don't like committing 4+ hours straight sitting down at the computer playing.Quote:

im pretty sure "grinders" dont switch back and forth between games.
grinders stick to 1 game. btw cash games are better than sngs. a lot more money - a lot quicker.
i'm going to be grinding for the next few weeks for 40hrs a week. i'll just be multitabling short handed NL tables. i won't really be looking around for good tables. players move around so much anyway. if i am at a bad table i'll move. if my stack gets big at a table (and i'm uncomfortable losing that amount) ill move tables.
use software, play where the fish are, if possible

QFMFT!! Table selection is my biggest money maker. I spend my whole session searching fish, playing weak tables and watching the lobby and stats of the tables I'm on.Quote:
