Top two pair facing all-in raise on river

Hello, I am a new member on here and this is my first post. I play 25nl to 100nl on pokerstars. Here is a hand that I would like to get some feedback on. Villain is 16/5/3.71 for about 100 hands. I think that I am probably beat here, with a slow played set most likely, or possibly an A3h that got a draw on the turn (though less likely). Is it worth a call?

As for the hand, he's a pretty nitty PF raiser, so I can't see him having A3 here. The only hands that I can see his range having, and having you beat are KK,QQ and those are unlikely (though possible) given the board and your hand.

3.71 AF is pretty aggro, so he could be overplaying AK here, or a possible chop with KQ for both of you.

I call this push, just because I can't see what he's repping, and if I'm beat I'll just make a note of how he played a set.

Turn is a really weird spot, normally I hate donk betting but it's probably your best move.
River really sucks, this guys pretty nitty but meh idk i feel like we have to call and hope something worse shows up that played it weird like AA/AK/KJ/QQ

I reccomend folding preflop.

Although the villain is pretty nitty pre, i've noticed that you sometimes see these guys raise some pretty weird things pre. He's pretty aggressive post (although 100 hands doesn't say that much about AF), so i wouldn't be surprised if you saw a 45 or a K5 here as well as AA, AK, or a sheer bluff. I think it's definitely worth a call.

And this is really moot but i probably bet $3 on the turn, i like your line in general though.

Villain can easily have AA here though. 22 and 44 are unlikely.

I'm most worried about KK and QQ, but you have blockers.

I prob call here more than half of the time depending on what I'd seen in recent hands from villain at showdown.

Massimo, do you recommend folding the KQs because the villain has a tight raising range preflop or just as a general strategy?

btw massimo is max.

In general, you should be threebetting/calling KQ out of the blinds, depending on PFR and other factors.
He's just saying fold because his PFR is so low and we're never in a good situation.
I mean lets say the flop comes Q34, he bets flop and turn, and pushes river, do we call? idk but it sucks because there's no flop we can be comfortable with besides flopping two pair, trips, straight, or a flush.

Calling in position is fine even if PFR's range is tight - just gotta see KQs as a suited-connector and not worry about taking 1 pair hands too far.

3-betting vs this guy would be a waste imo

pf is a fold, were oop versus a nitty player. I cant see how thats much of a discussion point.
With your line on the turn, i c/c the river because over pairs like AA want to fire here for value and hands like KQ/KK/QQ we can showdown against when we like our hand strength.

The only bad move PF in this hand would be a 3betting as he is never folding and his original raising range is beating KQs.

A call or a fold are both fine, and should be a function of how well you know his tendencies postflop rather than his hand strength as against some of these nitty guys you can play basically perfectly postflop. For example if you know he is gonna check behind without TP or an overpair and fold to a bet on 2 streets which is pretty typical of villains with these stats then you can play a huge range profitably and calling should really only be a function of how often you have been bluffing him and can expect him to remain passive.

However if he cbets/gets value fairly reasonably postflop and you think you might take one pair too far then its -ev.
