QQ in live game. terrible play?
This was at a casino PL 1-1 pound blinds game. Loose, casino players. I think this might be an example where being in a new environment (i.e. higher stakes, and live) made me nittier than usual.
I'm dealt QQ in the blind.
Shortstack in LP raises, I flat call, there's a call behind. Should I have reraised here?
Flop comes K x x.
I check, MP checks, LP shortstack insta-pushes for about a pot-sized bet. LP has been seen showing down bluffs before.
I think about it for a while, then he says, "Oh no, you're drawing aren't you?"
I fold.
In hindsight, this guy was a shortstack who would have been all-in to a PF reraise, so I should have just pushed him in, right? I'm still getting used to being 100% aware of stack sizes at live games. After all I'm only behind vs AA and KK. The more I think about it the stupider I feel.
However, as played, is the flop fold still just as terrible?
