DId i play this wrong. villain is aggressive on flop

Fold preflop... As played, assuming villian is LAgg, this is pretty standard... I think your read of him may be off though if he just called a raise in MP with QQ.

yea open raising J7 sooted UTG is not a smart move, and worse is posting out of position as well, this is spewing at 6 max, wait 3 hands.

When you run a set line on someone and they push over it you're probably beat. However, you're committed at that point so the money is going in.

It doesnt matter what cards you like. What matters is if you like making money or not. These arent the sorts of hands to be raising out of position when you have no idea if you can take down the blinds and have virtually no chance of being in position postflop if called.

You cant put him on QQ the way he played it (especially if you think hes pretty aggressive). 55, JJ and JQ are all perfectly possible though as well as the possibility of AQ, AK of hearts(maybe) and so on depending on just how aggressive you think he is. Its ones of those flops that its ok to get aggro with even if you think you might not have the best hand (since you flop with almost everything and aggression could pick you up the extra equity) and by the time you are faced with calling the alling you are getting pretty much the right odds to draw to your flush even if you have no chance of 2 pair/trips being good. As has been said this was played fine postflop given that you were out of position against an aggressive player but you would have saved yourself alot of trouble by waiting for a better hand or a better position.
A good player can get away with having bad cards OR bad position. Its very rare that someone is good enough to make bad cards AND bad positon profitable.

edit: In future please use a hand converter or tidy up hands by yourself. In particular make sure results arent showing since they tend to bias your replies and make them fairly useless. The tidier your HH the more people will respond and the more thought they will put into a response. The less tidy your HH, the less people can be bothered to trawl through it to figure out whats going on.
