3 (AA) - Why not just 3xBB this? I have the best hand in poker, I'm fine with one or two players. Am I wrong? I feel like breaking the mold a little to encourage action.

6 (AA) - Same sort of deal but since you've gone into aggressive steal/shovey mode by then I think Hand 6 is OK to shove because there's a chance they may stand up to you. If you just stole blinds or have been stealing blinds with shoves and you catch a monster like this (QQ+), is it almost always correct to shove like you're stealing again?

The whole tournament seems standard.

Not a single opp stood up to one of your steals. Is that common or is this just a rather lucky?

Weak opps are weeeaaakkkk. Strong taipan is sttttrrrooooonnnngggg... And so are his cards.

Could have I guess, oh well. I was actually hoping that opp would pull the old limp/re-raise trick but I guess it wasn't going to happen.

I felt that your tourney was very strong, as always!

However, hand 6 I would have limped. Often I find that limping into small stacks has a good chance of them shoving and allowing you to stack them. My experience is that this is still profitable in the $11 or $22 normal SNGs and therefore, also in the $27s.

This is a bit of 3rd leveling. Both SB and BB were good players, BB is definitely a 2+2er who knows how I play and I suspect SB is too. They know that I will shove very wide here since both of them are <10x BB so perversely if I shove they might call me a bit wider than if I just standard raise.

I don't think I'm limping here, they have seen me raise/shove the last few hands and they (particularly the BB because I have exchanged HHs with him) will find it very suspicious that I am limping on the button when any semi-decent player would raise or shove.

hand 18 makes me laff. you push the last bazillion hands then call one. does he not have a little alarm going on right now in the back of his head? he flops middle pair and bets nearly 7x pot????? slight overbet. I love playing people like this.

I see your point, however, th2wo has 5.5xBB and if indeed, he's a good player, he would push any Ax or JT against a limp from BU, as he thinks he has fold equity ;-)
The hands he would use to raise are much looser then the ones he would use to call.

Plus you have the possibility that SexyJosem would raise/shove a high pocket pair.

Thinking of it again, I think it's definitively a limp ;-) Particularly, against someone that knows how you play you have to change your game so that he can question himself and do a mistake ;-)

I've noticed that you usually get 1-3 total donks per tourney. Many of them are chasing losses from lower levels. Did you notice how he had donked off 1/4 of his stack within the first 5 hands?

This is a little tricky to add a lot to as you weren't really put to any tough descisions-mostly eliminated by your deciding to push eliminating any post-flop play. Just some thoughts:

Hand 1: wow-thank you

Hand 2: no problems here

Hand 3: Nothing wrong but I like 450: you really would like your big hands to pay off so when it comes to push/fold you can take a chance without busting out. Being out of position doesn't really matter too much with AA.

Hand 4: Your move is becoming more common I have seen in a lot in the $27 and even in the $16. I have opened my range a bit in the BB for SB pushes and have been very happy with the results. The move is good but keep in mind that BB's range should be a bit wider due to his stack. You also mention he is a good player so he might be willing to gambool. Your not crippled but it is over a third of your stack.

Hand 5: I like this better as BB has more to lose, can find a better spot, and you are most likely ahead here.

Hand 6: Wow nice run of cards! again especially nearing the bubble you like to maximize your big hands-you have a valid reason for pushing based on the opponents. But especially from the button you might consider a standard raise as it looks like a steal atempt at 3XBB and you may get someone to push over you.

Hand 7: I like on the bubble

Hand 8-13: no questions here

14-end: Standard with the blinds and stacks-nice he pushed into your KK and your coin flips held.
