Hand 3: I call because i fold to a fourbet
Hand 4: bet 60ish
Hand 2: Christ, BU worries me a lot, if it's a spade I check and fold to flushy type bets, if it's not i bet 3/4ths pot, and cry call a raise.
Hand 1: I raise standard idk.

Caveat - I don't play these stakes non-live so my experience there is zero so I'm responding for 'practice'.

Hand 1: Why not reraise standard here? If that takes it preflop, que lastima but that's the way it goes sometimes. 'Sides I'm sure you reraise lighter here often enough.

Hand 2: Blank - I'm betting again, spade - I'm probably betting to fold to a reraise

Hand 3: I'm reraising (and I'm assuming that there aren't any callers before it gets to you) standard preflop here as well...fold or call 3-bet depends on how nitty I really think he is...but I could certainly find a fold.

Hand 4: This one almost seems to be the trickiest as it's mostly about extracting value as you certainly have the best hand now. We're not likely to be up against a draw or a lower set so what gets called most? I need to read more NLHE T&P but I would tend to bet like $37, or maybe even check (likely less often), simply because I think too much more action from you gets a fold and I'm ranging 88+, QJ+ and we're mostly vulnerable to Qx :club:.

My thoughts.. obviously I'm far from these stakes but I like theorizing :)

1. I assume an 8BB preflop raise is not standard, so either he has a hand he really likes (like KK/QQ/AK?) or he has a speculative hand he wants to get cute with. In the former case, a 3bet to $40 would be nice, in the latter, a call might allow you to snap off consecutive bluffs lateron.

Another consideration, if he is really trying to get cute with a so-so hand, a 3bet might get him to go ballistic, although people are probably not that dumb at 200NL

2. on a spade I probably shut down, on a non-spade I probably lead out for like half pot. I really feel like one of them is on a flush draw a high % of the time here..

3. Hard to say in a vaccuum. If I 3bet I'll fold to a 4bet for sure.

4. the turn is ur gin card.. I'd bet like $50-$60

Simple enough, i reraised he folded. I hate this when im pretty sure its a donkraise. The only problem is that where i play not enough taggs will squeeze behind me here with say AQ/AK to make calling a good enough play IMO. Also, i will lose my stack if AA gets outflopped, but then that shouldnt be a concern should it here?

This is a horrible spot for my game. My hand is strong but very lukewarm at 200nl IMO. My options are pretty simple i bet $60 odd and cant fold to a push (which considering worse two pairs/flush draws+ pairs makes my call good) or else i check and fold to a push (assuming a set) but then get pushed off a whole lot of hands i would play this way, isolating the poor ep playeron the flop. Saying that, this would be a great place to trap check with middle/top set sometimes to commit button to bluffing the pot. (ill work out the pot odds of betting $60ish and ranges etc in a bit)

I like this. One of the reasons my preflop play is very standard is that i autoplay a lot of hands on the flop in reraised pots. eg. Ill push AA and AK and ask my opponent to stack off with very second best hands in that spot, despite the fact i *may* have only AK.
Saying that my pot control goes out the window in reraised pots when i have AA/KK but not QQ (potential leak) and thus calling preflop wouldnt be horrible, but it means the set hunters can come in for a flop even if i try to isolate on a flop i like.
fwiw, i play this spot really badly.

not a lot to say here. I like my line, i can do it with a wide range. Maybe i could check here like i might when i feel im being slowplayed or called down by a weak player. I guess it leaves the check turn push river linesopen for sets, backdoor draws and total bluffs with a mid-pp.

Hi, I'm a 25NL player so not as experienced as you are but I think it will help me to post comments on other peoples hands.

Hand 1:

If SB & BB will prob fold to original Raise then I would call instead of raising pre flop. If flop is rags and Villain bets I would prob call and raise/bet turn. If flop has poss hit Villain (Face cards) I would raise flop and take it from there. Considering Villain is passive and/or tight he prob has AQ+ JJ+.

Hand 2:

On a blank turn I think I would lead with 2/3 pot bet. If its a spade maybe a 1/2 pot bet and fold to a push. Or maybe this is just to transparent at these stakes compared to where I am playing. Anyway thats what I would do!

Hand 3:

Re-raise to $25. Villain prob likes his hand and will call. If he re-raises I'd prob just call and evaluate the flop. If A or K flop then obviously approach it carefully.

Hand 4: I would be betting half the pot here and hoping for a push over from Villain. Possible overpair or lower set. If he has QQ then so be it.

Anyway as I said at the beginning I only play 25NL and all these comments are probably b*ll*cks. Take it for what they are worth or ignore/correct me if my thinking is flawed.
