run really goot, obv.
PLay 20k hands at 5ptbb/100
or 40k at 2.5ptbb/100
or ...
I was thinking 3K hands at 7 BB/100, but based on my progress so far (-50bb over 200 hands), I'll probably rethink.
edit: fwiw, I think i'm playing fine; dropped 20BB on my KK vs . AA, 20 more on my flopped flush AI on turn versus 2pair opp gets boat on river.
at 25nl I think a decent game will earn 10ptbb/100 which is $50 per 1000 hands, so $500 is 10k hands. Thats definitely doable, but itll be a bitch if you are just 4tabling.
Play 6 max, play with me. What site?
stars. i'm not real confident in my SH. why with you?
cuz i suck

What would that be? About 29 hours short-handed?Quote:

I've gone to 6-tabling. This provides (at 80 hands/table/hr) 480 hands/hr, and if I can get my winrate where it should b e, that'll d o

ew that's a lot of poker. gl
Anything to back that up long-term?Quote:

$299 fo yo
Not trying to bash your idea here Lefou, but I just wonder how many of these weekend type goals are ever accomplished. Poker is in no way a short term game and you shouldn't put pressure on yourself to win over such a small sample. I think the better idea for you may have been 10K hands this weekend (with a specific ptbb/100 in the back of your mind)
trip, you have the worst avatar on ftr.
Elaborate, plz
I take your point, and have dropped this goal because I am not able to play all weekend like I thought I could.Quote:

2. ATs (9 times, -$34) -- will look into this...
3. KK (11 times, -$33)
However, in defense of "dollar amount goal" it's a good motivator to get a lot of hands in, take each session seriously, not play when distracted, etc.
You just have to base the dollar amount on a realistic winrate and number of hands, instead of on a car payment.
I think you could do this. I made approx. $500 over 3 hours 6 tabling 25NL one time. Running really g00t mind you with shit players paying me off the whole way. But still, it might be hard and time consuming but I think you could do this by Monday. Give 'er!
Note: On threads that say, "I'm going to do x, y, z before monday", you should check the date.
Haha
