I am going to give it a shot here, but be warned I am a newbie. :-)

With all those limpers I would have never raised PF, just limp with them hoping to get the set.

Flop gives an overcard, I would be hesitating for betting, I would have just checked with so much ppl around. (I am noticing also the 2 hearts, very high chances on flush drawers).

Turn, I would fold, 2 overcards appeared and MP2 says he has something.

Feel free to correct my thinking, I am here to learn. :-)

My thinking was I was trying to eat up the blinds originally. If I get callers and hit a set it makes it easier for me to get my whole stack in the pot.

The pot is then checked to me, I have position so I try to take it down on an ugly flop. With such a high raise and it seems unlikely they would have hit anything. If one of them hit a set ot TPTK I expect them to come out betting which they didnt.

3 callers surprises me and when it is checked to the person infront of me I am thinking they are drawing. A puny 7 dollar bet has me thinking...

Your reason for raising that much preflop makes no sense. You want implied odds with this hand.

The flop bet is very highly questionable with three others in the pot.

If you put anymore money in after the turn then you need to seriously re-evaluate whether you want to play higher than 10nl at the moment.

From your tone I'm gonna guess either you got really really lucky and someone bet like bottom pair or you hit your 2-outer.

I think there is at least 1 more pp and something like AT+ or KT+ present. Maybe also a flush draw.
Especially the calls of UTG and MP2 would have scared me. UTG has put more than 70% of his stack into the pot, no chance of making any moves with about $8 left. MP2 called with one raiser/two callers in front of him.

I wouldn't think that three players are calling with hot air. And imo you just have 1 out, since 6h on the river, for me, would be a good reason to fold.

I don't hate the PF raise, like you say, you can get the blinds right away or win a huge pot if you hit your set. BUT, you do have to C/F this flop with all the callers and an over card. If a rag falls on the turn and they still check to you, I'd consider betting.

Horrible flop to cbet. There are far too many ways someone good have hit this flop and far to many players who might have hit it. Just take the free card.

Ill call a turn bet this size on some boards since you probably have big implied odds but here the 6:h: could give someone a flush and either 6 could give someone a straight so you cant be happy about getting it allin even if you hit the set. Turn is a fold.

I usually just limp preflop after so many other limpers. It all depends how much they like stacking off with top pair hands in unraised pots.

I am getting good results with raising small pairs over a few thousand hands. Looking back the c-bet was probably really bad. I do not know what happened with the hand, I reluctantly folded to the small turn bet as did everyone else involved in the hand and it had me wondering what would have happened if I just pushed. The hand stuck out as very strange to me.

With that many limpers I usually limp behind pf. Raising isn't bad by any means, I sometimes would depending on the table conditions (lol like I ever pay attn to how a table is playing). But once you get 3 callers I'm not cbetting and definetly not raising the turn.

I'd say check/fold about half the time here in these situations. Depends if you've been a maniac at the table or not. If yes, then check/fold. Also at these stakes I'm not sure how often you're going to be taking down the pot preflop either, so I'm not sure how great it is to build the pot with 66 there.

People check/call at these stakes because they can't fold a pair. So definitely fold the turn.

That's like saying "I am getting good results by raising when I have two black cards over a few thousand hands." Sometimes it's good to raise preflop with small pairs, sometimes it's better to limp. This is a time you should limp.

yea i was not implying that i raise small pairs all the time, I just like to switch it up.

I like the PF raise. I'd punish limpers all day long with hands like this in position. When playing against people at lower limits that will stack off in unraised pots though I think limping is fine too.
