Call and hope to hit your flush. Fold turn to significant bet. Sucks, but that is the line.

Id be pushing here, the amount of times your opponent will fold their hand will offset the times when they call and dodge your flush draw, not to mention the fact he might be on TPGK and your A or Q might be good just as fallback outs

yep, pushing here is very questionable i believe. there might be slightly more FE if you raise to like 36 or something, but the weakass line suggested by SS, as painful as it would be for me to use, is probably the best

I agree with the "call the flop, and fold turn unimproved" line.. but
what happens if hero hits a Q or A on the turn? Do we lead with a push, check raise?

Do we believe top pair on the turn is good?

I put him on an overpair, set, or worse flush draw. He is also possibly on air or an underpair to the T that doesn't trust my c-bet. I don't think TP raises here. If I hit the A or Q, I play for a cheap showdown. Any hand I beat will prefer to show down cheap, except a bluff. Any hand that plays fast, I can't beat without a flush.
I know it is weak, but I can't find a better line without hitting more of the flop or having a better read.

The problem is that between players with tight raising standards and others with tight calling standards I don't think pushing has value against an unknown in this game.

Even that being said, I think re-raising to $20 and shoving the turn is a better play if we're going to just go ape-shit aggro.

pushing flop has alot more folding equity though

I think timing is kinda important. I'd more likely reraise an insta min raise and call if they thought first. But reraising is also more fun, and might get you a better image.

But it looks like he kinda sucks and you can't really go wrong by just calling, he might give you odds again on the turn...and he might be calling a 3bet with any hands he raises like fnord wrote.
