that others can learn from (maybe). I should have bet $50 on the flop to get the shortie to call all-in and MP to fold......correct?

Or is this just being results oriented?

That's what I was thinking.....but preflop I wanted to jack it in, just in case this nitty guy (he was 11/9) had something like AQ/KQ. Didn't want overs to come out and have me sitting there with my dick in my hands OOP with a huge pot in front of me. :)

I agree. The question then comes to light postflop. Is it better to push all in on theflop where only a better hand will call or let him bet and hopefully it will be a bluff. Getting stacked here is only obvious, but would it make more money in the long run if we let him do the betting?

no...JJ figures to be good here and giving a free card on this precious flop is bad. He isn't going to bluff if we check it to him because the sidepot is only worth 80 cents.

I dunno, I just figured since he called off $20 he either hit it or he didn't...my overbet push looks like it could be AQ/AK or something, which possibly could get 99/TT to call.

A nit won't normally call preflop with AQ/KQ here (after my reraise from the SB), but if we check, and he checks......an over on the turn would really suck me thinks.

I don't think he puts any more into this pot unless he hits something (a set or an overcard), so I'm going to bet all-in here and hope for the best.

All in all, I (now) think all streets were played fine. Just wanted to check.

With about pot behind, the cw is that you should push here to protect your hand. With more money behind, we need to start worrying about stuff like that.
