so i've been wondering lately if my poker experience is similar to others here. i have never had a really good upswing. i have never had a really bad downswing either. i'd guess that i've played roughly 70k hands mostly of 10NL and 25NL. i win some and then lose some constantly, and it's starting to get very annoying. i know i'm playing against bad players, and i know i don't make the same mistakes they make (ignoring pot odds, ignoring stack sizes, overplaying single pair hands, ignoring position, etc.). i've never had like just a really good week or even really good multiple sessions. i don't know what to make of it. i post hands here when i'm unsure of my play. i play tighter in EP than in LP. i don't just raise premium hands. i'm not a table sheriff. i don't slowplay often. i don't c-bet in bad spots with bad boards. i give draws bad odds, and i don't pay them off when they hit. i don't think it's variance causing this. i am a profitable poker player, and i guess maybe i should be happy about that. but i really feel like i should be more profitable. i'm tired of going up and down constantly and only showing marginal profits. does this stuff sound familiar to anyone else or do i just suck :D ?
PS - I'm working on flopping more sets
