400nl My biggest pot won yet... i flop the nuts.
I've been taking shots here and there and this was looking like a juicy game.
unfortunately, my good month ended when i went on a -$1500 swing @200nl right after this.
poker is fun.

Re: 400nl My biggest pot won yet... i flop the nuts.
Wow, you played this hand so horribly I don't even no where to begin with this reply, but I'll try my best to set you straight.
First and foremost, you should have pushed pre-flop. This is a no brainer. Tballs' raise shows the weakness of his hand and at this point I would have him down as A-5. A push here would have folded both other players and would have eliminated the second awful decision you made on the flop.
Since you have the positional advantage of acting first, there is NO reason to check here. I would open fold this flop. There are just too many hands out there that beat you that I would not throw away any more money on this hand. At this point we are fairly certain that Ducks is holding the RoyalStraight draw. And we can safely say that TBalls has hit trip fives because we already know he's holding A-5. At this point there is no question that we are WAY behind and will need some serious help to win this hand.
The Turn:
When the harmless 6s hits, any decent player would know we are WAY ahead. WHY DID YOU NOT PUSH THE TURN??? We now want as much money in the pot as possible seeing that we now have a chance to take down this pot. Also, another mistake you made was telling them your hand. You gave them a change to play the rest of the hand accordingly by saying "5555".
By the grace of God, you hit a queen on the river to suck out against both of your opponents and complete your mediocre, but nevertheless, winning hand. Just because you hit a lucky river card in no way means you played this hand right. Players like you need to learn some basics. I've been playing 400nl for years now and have NEVER seen a hand as poorly played as this one. There are some great beginners articles here on FTR and you would do well to read all of them. Actually, I'm a little confused as to why I have'nt been asked to write one myself. Anyway, get reading and in a few years you'll be a winning player such as me and some of the other veteran players on this site are.
Good Luck!
(you're gonna need it)
