What to do on a mixed table of TAGs and LAGs

OK ... here's my dilemma ... more and more the tables at Hollywood Poker have tightened up in the past couple of months (25NL). Now what I find are ... 10 players ... 5 are TAG (~ 18/5) and 4 are LAG (~44/20) and the last one is just not sure what he wants to be.

Is there any "secret" to playing this type of table? Or should I change sites and look for less balanced tables? Since mid June, I have been in a serious downswing (and no ... I don't think it's all bad play), so last week or so I went back to basics ... nut camping and set farming. But the LAGs toss out bets you know are crap, while the TAGs toss out bets you know mean something. The problem is how to play them both.

Typically, when my PFRs are called by the LAGs, I am good to go. And when called by the TAGs, I need to work harder to win the hand. But when BOTH call, therein lies my dilemma. Do I just play them the same?

I apologize for the ramble and maybe I haven't made my question(s) clear. Any insight on playing tables that are almost evenly balanced between LAGs and TAGs would be appreciated.

Open up your reraising range, steal the blinds, and make calldowns with reads.

stay away from multitablers?

Move to 5max?

I would expect the TAG to have a premium hand and the LAG to have something only decent (most likely looking to chase a flush or str8). I would think I need a very good hand to reraise the TAG. How would opening up my range be +EV in this situation? I would expect the TAG to call (because his range indicates a good starting hand) and the LAG to call (because ... well because he's a LAG). I might even get a reraise from either.

You dont want to be re-raising a TAG that raised UTG unless you have a premium hand.

It sounds like you have good reads on the people at your table, now you just have to apply those reads. I would say the answer is to just play solid poker, fold when it's clear you are beat, and if you think they might be bluffing dont always auto-fold.

You cant be afraid to raise in late position and c-bet the flop. Thats how you make most of your profit. What you need to focus on is the post flop play, and determine when you should raise for value, when you should fold when its clear you are beaten, ect.

25 NL in hollywood is pretty loose. Table selection is
the key here and good post flop play.

I feel that tight aggressive players are easy to play against. Give their ep raises a lot of respect, and (this is 6 max for me) feel free to reraise their late position raises with hands as marginal as AJ offsuit ot 55. A small reraise (maybe 1.5 times their lead?) would control the pot, probably guarantee HU play, and on the flop the TAG willl have to give you credit for a PP if he misses the flop and you bet.

LAGS are a pain, I would just hope to hit a hand against them and let them bet into me. I have found that LAGs are gullible to overbets, because they are often making plays, they assume that you may be too. I like to reraise a lag by a nice, round, ridiculous amount (raising a 10 dollar lead to 50). I find that youll often get action form these guys with big overbets. But overall I wouldnt really worry about tryng to outplay people, especially if you are laying at a FR. Sit back, hit your hand, and bet it hard. Youll be fine

IMHO, Hollywood 25NL has tightened significantly over the past 60 days. I have about 35,000 hands there and with my HUD, I find that usually at least half the table is 18 / 5 or so. This is FR. I play mostly around 6 pm to 11 pm PST so maybe there are better times for a looser table.

Maybe the recent signup/reloads at hollywood have tighten the
game a little yes.

Its true that there are lot of tables with 3-5 regulars but I recommend
u find tables with maximum 1-2 regulars with high flop %. They
are ezy enuff. 25PL is my favorite. Post-flop play is the key.

But 50Nl and 100NL at the moment r real rock gardens.

I play at european evenings.
