I had the second worse player you could have on your left last night. After about 150 hands I have some food for thought andwould like other people's opinions on how to handle the situations besides getting up and leaving table. All night he seemed to catch part of the flop and if not part of it he would catch his two pair calling with Axs, AXs, Kx,Kxs,Qx, qxs, and so on. Well I tightened up and played premiuim hands i was under 14% VPIP. That never seemed to work. He may have been passive player but he was at least smart enough to realize you only hit your flop %30 of the time. So at the end when i just started checking at the river he would bet. After a bit my stack was cut in half. So I changed my game completely and it worked last night. Now Im not sure it was the right strategy but I jsut became tight passive. After the flop I checked raised him several times on hte flop then showed agression after the turn. He started folding. Another thing I did was attacked his blinds No matter what I had. If the flop came rags he would always bet out like he hit the flop and I would reraise indicating some type of over pair and he started folding. Now and then yea he caught something and my stack was going up and down a lot more then I like but in the end I was up and he was down. Im not sure if I kept playing like this for a long time I might have lost. What would have been your strategy.
