I like em both. Might instead go ahead and put it in on the flop though. If you're behind you have outs and if you miss those outs you will hopefully be paid off more in the future.

I make these calls in position a lot, and when I hit a flop like that I'm looking to get it all in on the flop. Don't wait till a blank rolls off the turn. A heart/J might kill all your action in hand 1 if he has an overpair.

hand1 is tough without some sort of read
Read dependant. If you think its a hand that might fold if you push or you have the extra 5outs from two pair/trips id go ahead and push. Metagame stuff. If he has trips i think you have to call as hes calling any pushes and you have 9outs only.
Hand 2 is the same. I doubt he has QQ here so id push with what are probably 12 good outs.

Maybe im a little tight actually calling raises but i dont normally like calling raises with these hands until i have 2 people in the pot b4 me or i have fish behind who will call a lot.
