we play 4-7 people with $20 buyin and $20 in chips. pay 2 or 3 spots. blinds start at .50/1.00 and double with dropouts or set times. obviously M gets very small quickly. question: should all in bets be more frequent than value bets? if this is the case, then go in with top 20% hands pre-flop? what about calling all in bets?
why are your blinds so high? that doesn't sound fun at all.
You start with an M of 13..... maybe you should rethink the start of the tournament? Maybe start with more chips or start the blinds lower?
it allows us to play more games throughout the night. typically 5-6 tournaments

anyway play allin or foldem, also attacking blinds out of position can be essential.
5-6 tourneys a night?Man I'd rather clear bonuses in online ring games.
Play one real tourny and then dealers choice cash games :D Crap-shoots dont really reward the skilled so much, theyre more of a lottery.
rolling dice is only somewhat more of a crapshoot than playing that tourny structure.

hold on yall - This is a home game...it's not about making a ton of money (from the sounds of it) and I have a group of friends that play almost this identical structure - Yeah, you have to be in push/fold mode fast, but it's a lot more fun to get in 5 or 6 tourneys in a night also....It favors the gamblers, and thats what you have to do - Gamble - In mine I try to limp in when possible and then when blinds go up i'm in push mode - In my group of friends, we have 2 guys who regularly finish in the money (we only pay 2)...so there is some skill in it -
