No reads, but must be half reasonable as he hasnt caught my attention after 2hrs of 4 tabling.

Miff is CO with :Qs: :Js: (Image is probably Slaggy if it makes any difference at these stakes. Ive been raising a lot to $1.5 and been taking down repetative small pots)
Folded to Miff, Miff raises to $1.5 Villain in sb makes it $4.5 BB calls Miff calls

Flop Qh jd 3c
Villain bets $2 bb calls Miff raises to $6 villain reraises to $18, Miff pushes Opp calls

Thoughts?

I like the play. At 25NL, I would play it exactly the same. Villain (IMHO) is sitting on A Q and most likely suited or maybe A J (though I doubt you would have seen the reraise PF with that hand). AA/KK/QQ/JJ are possible but I would expect a larger flop bet or a push to your reraise. But hey, what do I know?

First time I've ever offered my opinion, but...

I like it. I think it's pretty likely you are ahead. He's on overs or is too proud of TPTK. If you are going to stay in the hand you might as well push now, cause you are not likely to improve your hand. If he has the only other QQ/JJ then congrats opp and if he reraised with 33 I'd be surprised.

If he puts your on one of those pairs with good kicker due to your semi-looseness his play makes sense with AA/KK....then again it also makes sense with trips.

The more I think about it, the more I think you are toast. If he seems decent like you said I would think AA/KK would lead a little more to see if you hit trips. $2 into a $10 pot makes more sense from trips than AA/KK. I can see his reraise with AA hoping you are on KK, but calling your push? I would think only hands better than top pair would call a push from you after all that action.

i think if i get called here i can value bet AA/KK to death so long as the board doesnt pair.
However, if i get 3bet here i think im toast. Its only 50nl i guess but its still a pertinent point i guess.

Yea it's a little disconcerting that he's not worried about you having a set of queens - that was my first thot on glancing at the hand. He donk-bets the flop and then reraises and calls your push? He's really a nutball if you are good here. But your 2-pair is so disguised I don't see how you can get away from it, given that you don't have a solid read on his prior overpair play.

Preflop is gross, fold to the 3-bet.

As played, I'd bump it up more on the flop. $6 just isn't enough. Any T/K/A is a REALLY shitty card for you. Despite this, I might just call his 3-bet on the flop with the intention of getting it all-in on the turn. I expect he has KK/AA more times then not here so I don't want to blow him off that, but I think the push is ok, given what I said before.

results suck, but there's 6x as many combos of AA/KK then there are of JJ/QQ, and people 3-bet the first 2 hands more often then the latter 2 as well.

Oh yeah, fold preflop. Playing with 2 cards that are always dominated (unless he has AK!!!) just sucks. Even if they are pretty and they're suited and you have position.

Im not convinced calling the 3 bet is bad with 3 in the pot.
Im getting 3:1 and ill get paid if i monster hit. Dunno how often i do that however off the top of my head.

pokerstove suggests against a typical reraise range of AA-QQ AKs/AK im 71/28 so i dont think its that bad a call.

if they were good players it would make a huge difference, they just arent

Id have to agree here that sc's in this pot can and do get paid off a lot when they hit

i think preflop is ok. i call the flop 3-bet and get the rest in on the turn, i don't think you can exclude aa/kk/aq/whatever enough to not go all in.
