Flopping a set with JJ

I'm new to no limit, and one of the things I'm struggling with is when to call an all-in bet. How did I do in this one?

Villian in this seemed to be a pretty solid player.

I didn't want to scare away weak aces - is that a bad idea?

Pot the flop, you might scare a weak A but that's better than letting a flush draw see the turn for cheap.

Bet $7 on the flop. Obviously you are going to get all of your chips in with JJ here.

Or in this case a straight draw.
I bet 3/4 to full pot bet on this flop. You will have plenty of weak aces call as well as a number of Aces with a strong kicker.
I play for stacks here, but KT doesn't shock me. I think AQ is just as likely, given his sudden interest in the Q. You also have 10 outs to a full house if he holds the straight.

I bet 7 or 8 on the flop as well. Rest is fine, you can't fold to that card, although it does put a very fishy draw ahead of you - and it wouldn't surprise me to see it shown down.

Thanks for the advice guys. And yeah, as a couple of you surmised, I was up against the fishy draw (Ks Ts).

Doyle Brunson says overbet this flop, like 10. Draws will call anyway, and weak aces will think you are trying to buy it.
