I know I should know this, but...
What's the difference between using the expression Npt/100BB and just N/100BB?
I understand the later, but I don't know what the 'pt' in the former means.

Say somebody says their winrate is 5bb/100. GENERALLY, people interpret this as a winrate derived from pokertracker and just assumg that it means 10 big blinds/100 hands. But other programs with a 5bb/100 winrate would mean 5 big blinds/100 hands.
Basically what it comes down to is this: Pokertracker gives it's winrates in terms of big bets (from limit holdem). 1 big bet = 2 big blinds.
So saying 5ptbb/100, there is no way to confuse it, because people know you are talking about pokertracker's winrate.
If you say just 5bb/100, it causes a lot of confusion. Even when I'm talking with people from FTR whom I know very well, there's always confusion when we leave out the 'pt'.
Awesome. Thanks, Lukie.
Not a problem, glad to help.
By the way, you should vote me nicest poster on FTR here:
