There's 2 passages. The first one really got me thinking. It's basically about having a hand OOP with no showdown value at the river, in a situation where you know that if your opponent bets, he either has a big hand or air, since he's very likely to check behind his more marginal holdings. In the hand outlined, the author argues that a check/raise bluff is far better then a lead out bluff. It's not rocket science, but I found it pretty interesting. The other section talks about semi-bluffing and a few situations of where it might be better to do so and where it might be better to check.

i check raise bluff in that spot, but i do it for alot more $ than the amount suggested. i also think the 2nd part is good advice.

in other 2p2 news, mason said besides the sklansky/miller NL book due at the end of may, theres another small stakes NL book by miller/matt flynn/sunny mehta. both these books are going to be totally awesome.
