My adventures in 25NL

Ok so I lied I have been playing 25NL at Party. Dear god it is better than whoring bonuses its so soft, to bad I have to keep studying an such.

But once Wednesday(or Thursday) comes its summer time.

My Goals for the summer time: Play at least 2 hours of 25NL a day playing 4 tables. Plus I plan on sprinkling in some MTTs($6 FOs)


So far here is my numbers at 25NL(Thanks poker tracker!)

Note: I will update these number maybe every week so instead of scanning down to view them it will be updated weekly

Total Hands: 1,710
$ Won: 161.48
BB/100(Big Bet): 18.89
VP$IP(Somone explain this to me please): 15.09
PFR%: 5.56(Have been working on this it was at 5)
W$SD(again Im not to sure what this means):61.82
BB/Hr(Big Bet): 11.82

Any other relevant numbers I should post?

Ohh and this excites me even tho my sample size makes it meaningless.

VP$IP is the percentage of times you pay money to see the flop. It is a function of looseness/tightness. Depending on who you talk to, less than 20% is considered tight at full ring (I have heard some people say 15-17% and below is tight).

W$SD is the percentage of times you get to showdown and win money. Your percentage there is pretty good. Much higher than that would be a little too conservative (not pushing enough thing edges). But so far, so good!!

In Pokerpatterns, when setting the variables for your graph, it's easier to just select all the sites they support rather than picking out the three or four or whatever.

play 10-15k hands and you will know if you are winning. Also it would probably be good to separate a section of your bankroll exclusively for ring and a section exclusively for tourneys. That way it separates your successes and otherwise into their own little categories.

Well you ever feel like wow Im 19 Im an adult when I come back from college for the summer my parents will give me more respect and treat me like an adult? Not at my house, my dad took away my router untill I get a real job, so Im looking, once I get a real job Im gona take poker seriously and put in the hours needed to get better and make some nice cash.
