I know somewhere that i should have played this differently what would you guys have done
-
bet more all over the place
preflop, with two limpers already, you should bump up that raise to about 1.25 or 1.50. A good general rule is 4xbb, adding 1bb per limper.
On the flop, the pot was 4, you should've bet 3 instead of 2. If you had raised more preflop, you should've still bet ~2/3 or 3/4 of the pot on the flop.
On the turn, it is a little trickier, but don't bet 2 again, your hand might still be good. bet more, maybe 1/2 to 2/3 of the pot, to keep people drawing to the flush paying.
On the river, then you can check behind.
-
so you think that the check on the river was right
-
u played this hand so passive...i bet 1.25 pf...
on the flop pot is 4, i would have bet 3
he checks on the turn...if he did flop a flush this is the spot where he would probably bet although its equally possible he checked it...i lead out here 3/4 pot
when he checks the river im pretty sure he missed his hand or his hand is shit...he probably had a dime and chased the flush down, i bet out around 2/3 3/4 pot again on the river.
-
checking behind on the river is mainly good if you've played it more aggressively than you did, because most hands that called you down are draws that missed and won't call another bet, or hands that have you beat.
