Especially because there's a flush draw out there, bet 3/4 the pot on the flop.

I agree. That straight was hard to see coming but your flop bet gave anyone holding spades great odds to call.

Even if everyone folds to a 3/4 pot sized flop bet, as they say, better to win a small pot than lose a big one.

Poorly disguised bad beat post is right.

If you want to bet then do it properly, dont just wuss out when they tell you it hass to be more than 2c
