This is my first post. Just wanted to post this. I've had my fair share of bad beats w/ PP AA, but as soon as I started using poker tracker about a month ago, I haven't had one bad beat. So far I have 37 wins and no losses. Playing 50/1 Im getting 7.22BB/hand w/ PP AA. I wonder if I'm playing it too hard preflop?
By the way, in 6500 total hands I'm at 10.05 BB/100 hands, which is pretty good. I think I must be in for a bad run.
PT has helped my AA win rate too. I am winning 88% of the time w/AA on the $25 NL tables. Not sure if this is normal, but it seems a lot higher than when I didn't have PT.

Anyway, mine win 88%, always have. I don't think I ever had 37 in a row, though.

In my total 100k hands tracked, Ive had aa 453 times, win% 82 and PTBB/100 only 4.4

You might be right Renton, but I'm averaging a terrible amount w/ it (7.7BB/hand). However, I might be able to take down a few bigger pots w/ a little more conservative preflop play.

i think a more pertinent stat is, to revive an old question, how much of your total winnings come from AA :)
it should be the most by a staggering amount. Mine once wasn't, and I have since learned how to play AA.
Now I need to learn how to play QQ. Its my biggest losing hand by a landslide.

out of 6500 tracked hands, I have had it 25 times (not much below the odds of getting it anyway). I have won 24 (88%) and have return of 10.4bb/100. What sucks is when it's just one limper and the blinds, you make a standard raise, and everyone folds. You get a pot, though, which I guess is better than being outdrawn.... :wink:
I could be a little less aggressive with it on some raggy boards. Chase people off a little too early from time to time.
Thanks for the replies. By the way, on my 2nd post I meant 7.7/BB hand "isnt" terrible, not "is" terrible. Also, AA is much more difficult to play at the 100 dollar level as compared to the 25 or 50, because many players (not all) at the 100 dollar level catch on to what you have after a huge reraise, especially where I play at PS.
As many know, this means that a huge raise post flop will either most likely not be called, or only be called or raised by 2 pair or better. Occasionally you will get lucky here against KK or QQ, but this cant be counted on and is, again, less likely at the 100 level on a tighter site.
This is the reason I think a lot of people have a hard time moving from the 25 or 50 dollar levels to the 100 dollar level. At the 100 dollar level big pairs are less valuable, as they have increased risk and less pay off.
By the way, my current strategy is to bet and reraise hard preflop and then to slow it down after the flop. This keeps the pot low enough so that I can keep callers and take down moderate pots, but also avoid the becoming pot committed and having to call all ins against 2 pair or better.
By the way, QQ is my 2nd best money maker, right behind AA and in front of KK.
