I have just started at sit n go's and so far Im in the money about 50% of the time. I play tight at first (only playing AA,KK,QQ,JJ,1010,AK) until I get an idea on the other players. The I start being a little more aggressive. My question is: On a 10 dollar sit n go, players seem to go all the way to the river with nothing, then hit a card and win the pot. Is it the same at the higher dollar tables? Or is this just something you have to get used to?
you want this to happen, it's +EV for you, and -EV for them. just make sure you make them pay for chasing. if you do think they hit their draw, be ready to let your had go.

To answer your question, players at higher buyins suck less on average, but they still sometimes/often suck, or suck in a more sophisticated way.

If there's one thing you remember when you get sucked out on, remember this equation:
You + Bad Player = More bad beats + More profit for you.
That is, when bad players play bad cards against you, the only way they can win is by deilvering a bad beat. Henceforth, you will tend to get bad beats more often when playing against bad players. But, a bad beat defined is when you lose a pot that you were a favourite to win. Therefore, you will not disagree that if you played out the same situation a thousand times you would win more than the player who sucked out on you. Therefore, in the long run you will profit (a lot) from these players.
So it's not something you should 'learn to put up with', it is something that is the sole reason good players profit in poker, and you should be glad to see all these plonkers catching their lucky card on the river once in a whle.

I'd add that the only thing you CAN do to minimize your bad beats is to aggressively bet at pots where you believe you have your opp beaten. Thats the nice thing about no-limit - you control the pot odds. Next time you have 2 pair and you know your opp is drawing to a straight, when it gets to the turn, just push. He'll fold most times, and it maximizes the amount you win from the foolhardy fish that just won't give it up when he doesnt hit.
Of course, this will be disputed by many, and I agree that it is best to just give as bad of odds as you think they will call, as long as they are bad odds - but to minimize your suck-outs, you could try this. You'll minimize the amopunt of chips you'll win in the pot, but you'll also minimize your suckouts. It's up to you.
All I'm really saying is use your stack to push off the opp if you're worried about being sucked out on - but you better be damn sure he doesn't already have you beat..... good luck to you.

I'd say, generally speaking, however, you want to lay bad players odds that tempt them to call. Like 2/3 with TPTK. Bets like these frequently get called by shitty players on draws and are the bread and butter of pre-bubble action.

Can it be frustrating.....absolutely, can you be a winning play without learning how to deal with loss and frustration....absolutely not. It sounds silly to say, but try to smile and literally celebrate your "real" bad beats....you just got all your money in as a donminating favorite....what else can you control about the hand?
