Cryptologic
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.15/$0.25
10 players
Converter
Pre-flop: (
10 players) Hero is BB with J:club: 8:club:
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls $0.25, UTG+2 calls $0.25,
3 folds, CO (poster) checks, Button folds, SB calls $0.1, Hero (poster) checks.
Flop: 7:heart: 9:club: T:club: (
$1.25, 5 players)
SB checks, Hero bet xx
So, I flop the nut hand (that's still vulnerable to some draws) in a small family pot. Interesting hand in that if someone's playing for the Ace high flush, 2 of his outs will leave him in a lot of pain. What kind of EP bet is best here?
Off topic: what's up with the 'fros in the avatars?
In your example hand, you should typically check behind. All you're winning here is a bluff attempt, unfortunately. I wouldn't worry too much about the flush draw, since you have a pretty high one.
