TPGK against short stack
Should I have just called instead of raised? I figured his stack was so small against his bet that I'd just put him all in..

I dont like raising preflop with KQ unless im towards the later end of positions.
I cant think of any hands that play like that. Maybe a semibluff? I need a read for this. Is he naturally aggressive? Are you naturally passive?
I cant see why hed be betting a set into you on a rainbow board when theres a strong chance you will cbet. I cant see why most players at 10NL would bet into you with JQ when they are scared of a weak kicker.
I cant see why he wouldnt reraise preflop with KK or AA although I have seen these traps with AA before.
I think I have to brand this guy as a donk for now and put him on either a set/2 pair (QT) or AA or a KJ semibluff. set/2 pair is probably most likely and you are only ahead of the unlikely KJ On top of that its a small pot and you havnt given me any reads :p and I dont even have TPTK so it looks like a fold. I used to call these but ive been getting burned with TPTK alot against short stacks since moving to 10NL. I was making a profit calling them at 2NL and 5NL but theyve been cruel to me at 10NL.
If he is overly aggressive then call.

Call preflop. Raising the flop is fine. Maybe a slightly smaller raise? You're kinda commiting yourself here when you might not want to. If theres a good chance the opp is a total fish its fine.
