I think 44 or 22 for the rivered full house. Runner-Runner to flush after a big RR is not likely. Don't think he'd lead out on flop w/ A5, but it could be possible at $25NL. Or was I bluffed big time? Just couldn't make the call for the rest of my stack with the flush and fh on board. Although, I REALLLLLY wanted to!! :lol:

Good lay down? Good turn RR? Or would you guys have called it off?

I can buy that the guy had a flush or a competing straight, but not a full house.

If he had a set after the flop, then I'd think (hope?) he'd bet more that bbx2 with two hearts showing. Instead it looks to me more like a defensive bet with two overcards.

Then the 3c hits and he made another small bet, probably hoping everyone would just call and let him see another card.

Hmm... actually I changed my mind. I think he has A6. He came in for cheap on the SB, you don't have a read on him, but it sounds like its been a loose table. He hits top pair top kicker and can't walk away. Suddenly it becomes a set and he gets cocky, figuring that nobody with a club-suited hand would have gotten through the raise you made earlier.

actually, dunk, you may be on to something. but, for my sanity, lets just say he hit the full house.

i need to get better on reads, or logically figuring why somebody would bet the way they do. i've just been burned too many times calling this stuff off in the past to put my stack on the line.

i used to think everyone was bluffing, quickly learned they weren't, and may have proceeded to giving WAY too much credit for opponennts playing straightforward.

I also agree with dunk here. No full house because he weak bet the flop and he just called the raise on the river. If he had a set on the flop I'm sure more than likely he would have raise your $4.00 bet on the turn because the turn brought another flush draw. Yeah A6 or a Flush would be a hand here.

He then bets from the sb into that pot. I know its 25nl but it looks like a dumb bet without the straight or flush draw. Could be a set but wouldnt he bet more? (open to discussion)
The turn brings one to a straight and you hold teh nut straight.
He could very well be holding a 5 here too, but then why bet into the flop with a gutshot? For the worst hand he could have 5c3c but the 3c comes on the turn so my other thought is A5 of clubs or hearts. Would he really call without an unmade hand on the turn. Yes, if he was chasing hearts and the flush.Id argue no with a set or two pair. He might call here if he had a set but again why bet into that flop when a set is obviously beat?
Therefore did he flop a gutshot and bet for some odd reason get lucky on the turn and then hit a flush on the river ith A5c?
Whatever he has i think id have called simple because he play on each street make no sense. Calling on the turn at 25nl suggests a heart flush draw chase to me, even 25nl fish can usually put a set down on that turn.

I am ALWAYS suspicious that someone going all in on the river has nothing. TONS of time I have made a call like this, and I win the pot(this week, I am probably 5/6 on these types of calls). Mind you, I play .10/.25 25 NL, so that surely plays a part in this. Here, I do not know what to say though, so I guess this post is a bit pointless.

It's close, but it's a call at 25NL. Too many hands you beat are willing to destack.

A5c or A2c, I'd say. Lots of SBs will complete with any ace. It could easily be 44 badly played on the flop, but it smells to me of a genuine flush.

Do you really think a flush draw calls a $4.25 raise with one card to come? I don't. He would be such an obvious fish, you would have to have a read.
