paying off quads twice
This week at Paradise I paid off quads twice, the most recent being absolutely ridiculous.

How do I not pay this off every time? After he called my bet on the flop I put him on QQ, but when the next queen hit I couldn't help but think he was full of shit. Then of course the Ace fell.
Should I have respected the quads and laid down aces full to some I considered mediocre at best?

i dont think theres any way you can lay this down after the A comes. Pay it off every time. Also i dont think you have to automatically think QQ just because he called a bet with a Q on the flop. He could just as easily have AQ or maybe even a lesser Q than that. Theres also a chance he is on the club draw. I think theres enough chance he has a single Q to go broke here with AA once that river comes.
Suck it up and move on :)

Pay this off everytime. Also, if that cursed ace doesn't come, you have to be grateful for how passive he played his monster and for not putting you to any difficult decisions.
