I've been reading a lot of posts that I have claimed 25NL is looser than 50NL, but 100NL is looser than 50NL.
What are everyone's experiencing in adjusting bets/gameplay when they made the switch from 50NL to 100 NL.
Also - what was your bankroll when you made the switch?
made the switch at 2k originally, but have made it at 1750 this time, i considered buying in for 75% but didnt.
100NL is still the smae thing. There are just more donkeys who thunk they play and blatently cant
I have just started 50NL 6 max at Stars. It's a bit tighter but also full of people who buy in for 20-25$ even $10 sometimes :lol: looking to win one big pot and leave. Partly it's tight caus theyre just camping for monsters. I'm finding c-bets work well and its pretty easy to avoid trouble whilst bullying small stacks.
I moved up at $1,200 (Actually this is my second move up last time I got way to cocky and aggro just as Empire split from Party and had my first big downswing so withdrew to $500 and built up again to teach myself discipline) and I was thinking of hitting £100 at $2,500 - $3,000 depending on how I feel; maby this is way too much tho (I play pretty safe with my BR).
It depends on the table, but I'd say 25NL, there are maybe 3 good players tops per table. At 100NL, there is 1-2 excellent players, 3+ good players, then a mix of OK and fishy players. You have to hope to get to the fishy players before the others do. This is all relative of course. I think alot of 100NLers that say 25NL is the same as 100NL don't realize that they themselves have adjusted and gotten better to compensate. And therefore they are one of the excellent players. Therefore, it seems like the same amount of fish as 25NL.
Don't move up until you get to $1500 or more. 2k+ is preferable. And don't just base the jump on bankroll. If you are dominating your current level, then move up. If not, then stay there until you are.
