I don't like it. 2 reasons:
1) You pushed when you knew the only person who could call you is the made flush or a fish with a high/nut flush draw. (even most draws and some sets are laying this down) You just chased away your best customers.
2) You forfeited the use of your best weapon, logical post-flop play. Yes on this hand you risk losing to a four-flush. Although, unless you KNOW he is drawing(and there is no way to know that at this stage), you just pushed $11+ to win $1.40. Wouldn't $3 have been more effective or even $1.50 and play post-flop. If the you are that worried about the 4th heart then call and dump the hand if the 4th heart hits.
The only time I push like this is when I am way ahead, and I want a fish to think I am trying to push him out of the pot. I will also push the river sometime, if I am almost positive I am not getting a caller anyway. Sometimes the semi-fish think this is a bluff on a missed flush draw and will call with A high.

I couldn't agree more, thanks a lot.
Here's another situatin that occured less than 10 minutes later:
I am dealt AA in LP and raise 5xbb, one caller. flop come 9TJ rainbow. Pot sized bet on flop from villain and I push AI he calls with KQ.
I think your same answer applies here as well. There is no reason for the push because and straight or set would call. I ultimately broke even lastnight for the first time in 2006 :/

Ugh. I don't like the KQ hand. Like Silly String said, you are putting in $11 to win $1.50. Not a good move unless you hold the nuts or something close to it. You let hands like 2 pair, nut flush draw, etc off too easily. You have position. Don't be afraid to play some poker.
For the 2nd hand, depending on how deep the stacks are, a push might be appropriate.
