cant wait to pick one up.
cant quite fit 6 tables... but close.
Im gona guess $1.5K for it.
And Im pretty sure the 14ms response time seems a bit fishy, Ill wait till a review site tests it.
Sounds great for poker and porn tho, FPSs Im gona say maybe if the 14ms turns out to be close.
merry christmas me..............:)
it will fit 6 tables............Quote:

youd need a dual-link vid card as you would be tricking the vid card into thinking there were two monitors smooshed together.
lol im so excited with the prospect of a 30 in the center with 2 24s in potrait on either side.

and prozach, 14ms is slow isnt it? I could be wrong but I thought the flat panels athat are good for gaming run at liek 11ms, y/n?
lower than 16ms is good enough for most games.
Yeah 8ms is pretty much the fastest for 19" screens and I still get a lil bit of ghosting. So if the screen is really 14ms it would be pretty sweet. Anything less than 16ms is usually fine for gaming unless you are a "pro" But nothing beats a CRT for FPSs 0ms.
Looks nice... Its just the same as apple 30 inch... Same pricetag maybe :?:
Strip
definately lower price tag, dells whole selling point is qualty at a huge price drop compared to the competition. the apple will cost almost doulbe this when this is shipped I bet. apple will probably then drop their price then, but dell will still have htem beat.
In my country dell and apple has almost the same prices +- a few hundred $... So if its half price, then I'll buy it, but I doubt it atleast in my country :DQuote:

strip, oh well in america dell is way cheaper, so for you it might end up being the same price, however probably better quality, as its a 'later model'. The dell should sitll be a bit cheaper though, but Im not sure about international stuff.
I have the 2405fpw.
I think 30 is going to be to large.
I know it sounds crazy, but 30 is just more than you want in a monitor. You cant only look at so much space at one time.
I'd need to actually try it first, but I wouldnt trade my 24 for it as an even trade as things stand right now.
PS: Playing a game on the 24' is like watching a movie while sitting in the canter of a theater... the 30' would be like sitting in the first row... just way to big.
i have 2 2405s...Quote:
