You have 23o, the flop came 775, the turn came another 5, and the river gave a 4. The board reads 77554, and the pot is $4. You and one other player is in the hand. he bets 10 cents. For profit reasons only, should you call for future reads?

more info!
was it checked down or was there action.
In both cases id like to see for 10 cents yes
it was probably checked down as 23o wouldn't make it that far. Call it, you only have to be ahead here 2% of the time to be profitable  j/k, but at 40:1, i'd pay to see it
Good question!
Only if they are bad players.
A bad player might be slowplaying or someothing and you want to know if they slowplay that much.... A good player wouldnt be slowplaying, and so the information isnt worth the cost IMO (thats for online.. B&M, i'd pay for sure)
What I want to know is how you've spent 20BB on 23o.
the hand has been played in a way in which by knowing his cards you gain information. the 23o is just to show there is actually no way you are winning.
What I want to know is how you know that he spent 20BB on 23o.Quote:

He could have put 200BB on the pot for all we know...

I'll go with what Ripptyde said.
As to everyone else that is critiqing his hypothetical situation - shut up, it's a hypotheitcal situation.
How the hell did the pot get to $4 with checks on every street? Who raised? And why did I call with 23o? :P
That being said, at $.10 into a $4 pot, I call to see what the hell he has and make sure that everyone sees I called with 23o.
Fair enough... I assumed that the .10 bet was a minbet. Since this is hypothetical, I'm going to run with that for now.Quote:

Paying for info is even more sketchy online though, as you never know when someone's going to up and leave.
