Did I overplay my str8 flush? (Xpost)

I was playing this horrible fish at the 5c/10c NL tables on Absolute and lost big with a str8 flush! My opponant was a very weak player that basically played any 2 cards, even for raises and called practically any bet with any pair post flop. I played with her for half an hour and I think there were MAYBE 2-3 times when she didnt see the flop and/or folded before the river. I saw her call a 40c preflop raise (5x BB) with J2 off and call it to the river with a pair of dueces. She put over $5 in the pot at a 10c table with dueces when the board was showing multiple paints and a tight player raised preflop and bet it to the river! She ended up beating AK which did not hit. So im wondering if my lack of respect for her caused me to overplay my hand. Here is the hand history, CONSTRUCTIVE feedback is appreciatted. Do you think I overplayed this?

Putting someone on a higher straight flush is like putting someone on quads. It just ain't gonna happen. All my chips are going in the middle. Play flop and turn harder. You flopped a flush and you should be afraid of getting counterfitted by a higher flush on the turn and river.

Andr, thx for the feedback. Here was my thinking for smooth calling instead of playing aggressive to possibly get ppl off their higher draws.

Yes, I flopped a flush, but it was the lowest flush possible. The OP in question didnt bet much, she was a caller. So when she lead out and made a pot sized bet out of position with 3 hearts on the board I was pretty sure I was beat, I thought she had suited Ax hearts for sure! I just wanted to pay it off and try to see if I could hit the str8 flush. And, given her previous play I knew there would be no way to bet her out anyway. Like I said, she called dueces to the river against a tight player who bet AK high all the way down with numerous paints on the board.

When I did hit my str8 flush, I KNEW almost 100% that she would call my all in. I had no idea she had the higher str8 flush and that I was actually leading until I hit my str8 flush! What are the odds of the 2h,3h,4h,5h,6h,7h AND 8h all being in play in the same hand at the same table? I think my chances of getting struck by lightning might be better...

Oh well, at least there is somebody else out there who would of gone broke on this hand too! :?

you lost your stack
That means you played it properly.

In any case you want to play against players like this as they pay off all the time. ATM. you put your card in and get cash out.
(p.s push the flop against this player) she'll call with alsorts of crap.

You know, I hear this statement made very frequently but it has not proved to be true for me. I usully lose BIG $ to these types of players. I win a lot of small/med pots against them, but I lose my shirt when I get monsters and go big knowing they will call. I think I should slow down against them maybe. I am very prone to suckouts. So, if I know they are going to call any bet i make, maybe I should just bet med so I lose less...?

you dont NEED to win big pots against them
just repeatedly make them call with weaker hands
they pay each time with anything (you obviously stay tight and dont bluff) you dont need to corner them just keep winning small/medium pots bcoz they dont learn.
