AA All-in - Was this too aggressive?

Was I too aggressive in this hand? Or was this the correct play on the pre-flop?

Just as a follow up question... when the flop came down, I was concerned that the guy had 2 pair KJ which prompted his bet. How would one get the information on that?

Just to elaborate a bit on this point, your flop push is fine here. If he does happen to have KJ, that's unlucky, and the cards will fall where they may. I feel that your push is the corretc play here, you will run into KJ and JJ and 99 on occasion, but most of the time I think you are taking down a big pot here. Just let the cards fall where they may.
